The Battle Network games are pretty OK for being MegaMan RPGs. I personally think they top Starforce, but Battle Network isn't perfect. For one, I thought the soundtracks were dissapointing. Most of them remixes of the robot master's themes weren't anywhere near as good as the originals. And I thought BN3's dual release in Blue and White versions was dumb. MegaMan is not Pokemon.

They're alright time-killers overall, though.

I never understood megaman. I would like to know his origin; is he a robot, a digital warrior thingy, or what, because I have only played battle network 2 or whatever it is for the GBA on a rom, and I don't even know what it was even about. Could you explain a little?

EDIT: I meant to say battle network, not battle chip challenge.

Theres a new feature maybe coming to Viz. It'll be a clan feature and I thought since you have about as much respect and love for mega man as I do, would you like to be the co-leader of The Mega Man Clan?

Shane: A brief origin story of MegaMan:
MegaMan was built by Dr. Thomas Light and Dr. Albert Wily along with his sister Roll. MegaMan, named Rock at the time, was originally made to be a lab assistant. Light and Wily created eight additional robots to serve industrial purposes throughout the city. The city they live in is called Monsteropolis in early games, and only in the manuals. Dr. Light recieved a Nobel Prize for his work on robots, and Wily was extremely envious- he felt he deserved the award as well. Wily stole and reprogrammed the eight robots and tried to use them to conquer the world. Rock them volunteered to become a fighting robot to attenpt to stop Wily. He suceeded, and Wily since then attempted to cunquer the world several more times, all without sucess.

Of course, that's MegaMan's origin story. Later MegaMen, such as X and Zero, have much different origins.

JusT: Wow, really? I'd be honored.

*High Fives SarothCyngus*

1ay did MegaMan ever have a love interest in any of his games?

2: Has MegaMan ever crossed over into other games?

Now finally my last question is just for fun and you don't have to answer it but who do you think would win? Earthworm Jim vs MegaMan(In any incarnation.)

1. No. The only major recurring female in the series is Roll, and she's MegaMan's sister.
2. There haven't been any series crossovers as of yet, but I don't think the world is far from a MegaMan/ MegaMan X crossover.

And MegaMan would win. MegaMan always wins.
