Why doesn't anyone seem to like Ben Affleck anymore?

Why doesn't anyone like Ben Affleck? He's won more than 40 awards with more than 80 nominations including 2 Oscar wins and 3 Golden Globe wins. However, over the past few years, he seems to have been a laughing stock. Ever since roughly when he was picked to play Batman, people just don't like him anymore.

Heck, I have seen 3 movies that Affleck had a major role in and the combined Rotten Tomatoes rating of those 3 is just 39%. If you take into account a 4th movie I saw where he had a small role, that rating drops to 35%.

I mean, I do think that he does way too much. Heck, if you see him star in a movie, odds are he's done one of these as well.

A. Directed.
B. Written.
C. Produced.
D. All of the above.

According to critics, since the start of 2013, Affleck has only been in one movie with a rating above 51%.

I'm personally on ok terms with him, what are your thoughts on Affleck for his career in general and as of recently?

Long story short as far as I can tell people just got sick of him after a while

It's just why everyone hates adam sandler, he's just himself in every movie and you just get sick of seeing him

Same reason why smosh fans are questioning why they even like smosh anymore, the fanbase got over it and the person in question didn't.

yoshirulez! : Oh my gosh, you don't even have to mention Adam Sandler. Over the past 10 years there was only like 3 movies by him that I could even sit through. He wrote and provided his own stuff as well, so who knows maybe if they weren't but allowed to work that way too, the movies might have been better. I guess it's their curse or something.

If I am going to be honest....I don't really know him that much because I don't watch his type of films for some reason. There may be one called He's just not that into you with Jennifer in that film. I guess maybe its a miss and hit thing even though he has done what you have mentioned some people tend to like other actors but him.or maybe because of the films he has done?
