I remember from the TDV I won, there were a couple of days where high post amounts didn't guarantee anything.

Day 2, needed 78 to get one point.
Day 3, if you didn't have 95, you missed top 3

There were probably more, this was the third TDV I think.

There have also been a few crazy days since, usually early on in the competition, but not always.

If the TDV existed back when Snow and I had our crazy day where we each had like 250+ posts, then the bar would be set impossibly high for 2nd best score for a day.

It's not common now, I mean, the first day in the competition had only a combined 170 posts between the top 5, which is an average of 34 per post. For comparison's sake, the summer 2012 TDV opener had 182 posts... by the top poster alone. The top 5 had a combined 534 (or close to 107 per person). You should remember that, since you were second that day.

It's just such a different atmosphere. Not worse or better, just different. Competition is so easy compared to back then, which is how I was able to slip in the top 10 last TDV without doing anything.

legacyme3 : Yeah, I remember fighting septembern one day, and getting 100+. It used to be crazy the entire month back when it was still relatively new, so you had to pick and choose which days you wanted to try to get points for. 

Lexatom : yeah, but I don't really know how i got it really lol. Like, i just log in and start posting like a maniac and hopin that my name gets tinted xD

And lord help you if you ever wanted to actually "win" the TDV itself back then. Yikes.

I'm still amazed I was top 3 in the first three TDVs, since I cannot imagine exerting that much effort now.

Going to compete again today, but not now. I need more rest, hehe.

Lexatom skyrockets into 1st.

So I just recently got notified that I have no school tomorrow since the snow isn't melting as fast as they thought it would. You know what means right? More TdV competing! I'm going to be sleep deprived all week, I swear.

You know you talk too much when you make it into the top five for yellow just posting as usual. I should probably be upset that I talk so much as to place accidentally, but eh, it's my thing now. That and pudding. :3

I need to try competing soon though. It'll be hard with my hours, but I'm sure I can win at least one.

I haven't been able to do much posting today thanks to watching TV and movies at my friends house, but I plan on getting some more staff work today and that should be enough to get me a couple extra points here and there throughout the night.

I should get off my lazy gaming butt and start competing again.

Welp. I'm fairly disappointed right now. Last night I was trying to go for Yellow along with other internet based things and with about 40 minutes to go in the day, my phone plan decided to expire in the middle of a long post and everything was ruined.



Hopefully I can finally do what I have been wanting to do for more than a year. Every month in 2016 I tried and failed each time, but I have faith that I can finally pull it off this month and pass David.

Decided not to compete today. Getting the Rainbow alone is enough to satisfy me. I may compete again eventually, but perhaps not this week,

Nooo, i'm no longer in the leaderboard, i hope i can compete today, school and producing stuff holds me back a little bit lol

10 days have passed now. That's one-third of the entire competition... But i shouldn't compete now. Two reasons why:

1. I'm lazy, busy and 'weak'.
2. I'm not that active here these days. I only post when seeing something interesting.

I would give a reaction to the ranking list now, but it would basically be only about Cox and Yoshi being so equal now.

School ended up getting canceled due to many complaints from both students and parents, haha. Guess I'll compete today since things seem to be going a little slow right now, and I kind of want to keep my spot in first.

I don't know how much more I'll compete. School is about to start, and I have the sinking feeling that I am going to be really busy this semester.
