I want to know how to rent a forum. I have an interesting topic for it, but I have no idea how to rent one. Can you tell me how?

Well, from my experience it has either been Davideo7 auctioning a new one off, which has only happened once in the past year, selling at like 1.5 Million Viz or something ridiculous like that.

And a user who already owned some just sold 2 of them for 1 Million Viz each. They're in pretty high demand, so you'll need A LOT of Viz to actually snag one when it becomes available.

I've only been here a year, but that's all I've seen so far. You might want to start saving up now if you really want one lol

I wouldn't say it takes hardly any responsibility, you just have to follow the site rules still lol. And you don't necessarily have to do anything if you own one, so it only requires as much work as you want to put into it. If you own the forum, you can all but close it down and not let anyone at all use it if you really wanted

If you want to earn a lot more quickly, writing Reviews and Guides for games are one of the best ways to go. You get 5x and 8x the Viz per word respectively for those than you do posting normally. Just be sure to read the rules in the Sticky Threads in each of those forums before you post them. The rules aren't really strict or anything, but we do have a minimum word count requirement for them, among a couple other things, like not splitting Guides into multiple parts. You could also rate content through out the site, like screenshots, songs, reviews, videos, etc.

I think when David sold one a year and some change back (before I was banned the 2nd time), I think I won the auction with 2.5 million?

It depends on the type of forum owner you want to be. If you aren't hands-on, with a topic that requires it, your forum dies a slow and painful death (like the Vizzed Youtube one did).

Meanwhile, if you own something hands-on, and are hands-on with it, like Innocent Town, the forum becomes a great success (more so in the past than now, even though I think it's still by far the largest rented forum on the site)

The only forums that really run themselves are things like Christian Conservatives, and that forum tends to be more looked after by the Globals anyway.

Every forum on the site requires SOME responsibility, otherwise the forum dies.

I just meant as a Rented one it only "requires" as much as you want to put into it. So if someone wanted to, they could essentially buy it and never use it again for anything, and wouldn't get in trouble for it or have any negative consequences. I agree completely that if left unattended it will die out. 

I've been trying to get Jygin invested more and get ours rolling, but she'd rather be doing other things online all day than bother with Vizzed lol. Though I am in the process of putting things together to add to ours, it's taking longer than I thought since I'm doing all the content for it myself.

You can't. The option to rent forums was disabled a few years ago because David thought that there was too many. You'd have to buy one from someone, which will be really expensive, for example I just sold two forums last week for a million Viz each.
