Darn I was going to start a thread just like this! Anyway, I played the first two and I must say the TTYD is probably my favorite game ever. I loved all the sidequests and characters and the plot. The world was so vibrant and each area I went to really was something different experience each time. After I beat that I played the first one. I thought it also was really great but not as good as the TTYD. I was pretty heartbroken when I saw Super Paper Mario. I was hoping for another RPG but we got a platformer instead. I love the paper mario series a whole lot and can not wait for the paper mario on the 3DS.

I didn't care for TTYD but I'd have to go with Paper Mario 64 only because at that time it was kinda the spiritual sequel to Super Mario RPG, which I played into the ground. Well I haven't got the chance to try Super Paper Mario yet, but it looks cool.

i didnt like SPM because they changed everything, i know people said that the battling system would get boring but thats why you can run away people lol. the best for me was TTYD because the graphics were amazing with the 3D paper type look to it and the story and gamplay was perfect, it was a long game and even after you beat it you still had the 100 trials to do which i never beat. i had the n64 one when i was little and i played that to death and i even got it on the VC and ive beaten it about 3 times already but i still like TTYD more...i hope they bring back the turn based in paper mario for the 3DS
