Do you like spending time with the family when Christmas comes around? I know I do because you have to try and spend time with your family. Even if its not for everyday, but for something that happens once a year its something worth doing. I know me and my family are not as close as we used to be. Its a sad thing, but I still get happy when I see them come around to visit. It means they still care about you. So what about you? Do you like spending time with your family when Christmas comes?

I usually try to see everyone that is left in my family,especially my mom,i usually have dinner there,and i will see Aunts,Uncles,Cousins,my brother,and some best friends,and if i don't see them all on Christmas Day then i will see them the next day

I don't really spend time with my family for Christmas, that day is usually reserved to be with my friends. In fact, each of the past three years, I spent the whole Christmas Day outside with my friends, mostly watching movies. Last year for instance I wasn't at my friends house for like 6 hours AND THEN we decided at night to go all the way to another city to see a movie. Usually barely see my family on Christmas.

Spending the day with family is probably one of favourite things about Christmas. With so many cousins who are married, people alternating who they spend Christmas with every year, and family who moved out of the city, we don't usually see each other actually on Christmas day, but every year on Christmas eve the whole family gets together: all the Aunts, Uncles, cousins and second cousins. 

It's always so much fun because we're never all together like that except for that day. We always have Christmas Eve at My Aunt Phyllis' house, which is tiny, so it gets crowded, but we've never wanted to have it anywhere else. It's tradition now I guess. Everyone hangs out all night laughing and catching up while Christmas music blares through the house. It's awesome.

Fishergirl7 : I would agree as well that's why I always look forward to Christmas. We grow up and sometimes or most of the time don't get to spend as much time as we used to family wise. Not really. I do not get along with a lot of them. It is more like a forced gathering. It is more me. I am not a people person and I hate Christmas. That one magical month when people spend a ton of money or charge it and wind up broke or in debt.
