Perhaps one of the pros of digital vs hard copy- Not losing it!

I like to rent Redbox movies every once in a while to break the monotony at home. So, last week or so I rented Civil War DVD from Redbox and welp 5 minutes into the movie, I realized I hated it so I didn't watch it. Next day I forgot to return it so I was charged $6+ for it...Now on that second day, I had the movie on my hand along with other things and could not open the car door so, I put everything on the hood of my car...I placed everything in the passenger seat and head it out. Half way to the gas station to return the DVD I realized that it was not on the passenger seat so I parked and checked everywhere and it was definitely not in the car. I drove back many times and could not find it. I LOST IT.


Days have passed and since I take that same route about twice a day, I've kept an eye out but, still have not found the darn thing. But, here is where it gets weird, there are NO additional charges to my card- which according to their site, you'll be charged for every day you keep the movie which could end up being around $50 which have not yet posted to my account which could mean 1 of 2 things- they are waiting to hit me with the charge all at once or a great human found it and returned it...Yeah not placing all my hope on the latter.

So, have you lost a movie/game that was not yours? If so, how? And what did you do about it

I borrowed a dvd a few months back,a horror movie called The Green Inferno,i borrowed it from my friend and it fell down a drain in the street,just slipped out of my hand and made a perfect descent down a drain,there was no way of getting it back,will be down in the sewers,probably alligator food now lol i never told my friend,i just bought a new copy and gave that to him after i watched it,he didn't notice anything wrong about it,darn that drain and darn my luck

Got new copies? ain't you lucky. My friends would kill me and drain me until I got the a replacement hence why I never borrow from them lol.
