If so wow, though I doubt IE 7 is even supported on Win2000.

If you want my honest opinion, if your running Win2000 then get Linux. Contrary to popular belief it is not made for just nerds, in fact some versions are made with ease of use in mind and even have a GUI which another misconception is that they are all text based.

It is also made for lower end machines, so if your computer is running something that old then Linux will really be your only alternative if you want an up to date OS.

Pokemonfan1000 : That could work although it probably would be slow, and when I say slow I mean slow. Installing newer things onto an older machine is almost guaranteed to eat up a lot of processing as well as RAM which with older computers you cannot have.

Even if it's not it will still work) Heck I got Windows 3.1 to install on a 500 GB hard drive with no free space left meaning I could not allocate space to dual boot it with Windows 95.

Pokemonfan1000 : Windows 3.1 is an OS, OS's are made to be installed on a hard disk. Your 500GB hard disk is no exception although that's more than enough space for it. It's not impossible, some people actually got old OS's on SSD's so it isn't impossible.

Windows 2000?

In 2016?

Are you really serious? That Operating System is almost 20 years old now and you still want to use it for IE 11? I used Windows 2000/ME back in like 2005, but only a couple times as it was an old PC.

I highly suggest buying a new PC, Windows XP is one thing but this is just crazy.
