Behold Vizzed users! In the many times I have considered RPGs and my own fictional writing, and during these long musings, I have often thought about mounts and what each important character should ride.

Would it be the mighty Nightmare, so infamous from D&D?

Or perhaps a Pegasus that you fly high into the sky?

Some of us prefer the Unicorn, which even Jesus is said to ride in the last great book of the Holy Bible.


As for me, I think I would choose the nightmare all the way. A dark knight could only be expected to ride a horse such as this. I love black things. I like to tread the "unusual" side of things, and being a rebel is fun.

As for Pegasus and Unicorn, they are cool and all, but it's hard to beat a black horse with flaming red hair and hooves? Yeah, I think everyone knows the choice I intend to make.

How about you, what sort of horse mount would you choose? For D&D or anything?

I was going to post in this thread before, but I will choose Pegasus since I like that one more. I didn't post straight away because I needed to think about who I was going to vote for. Since I know it wouldn't be easy to do. I did think about nightmare although it has its own qualities of things it would had been weird for me to go with nightmare that doesn't fit with what I like.
