How have you benefited from the new Pokemon Go Halloween event?

I couldn't play much thanks to bad battery problems, but the event helped me out soooo much.

I was able to put my Magikarp as my buddy and in just 4 KM this week I got 16 candies, enough to bring my total up to nearly 200, and I was able to finally catch my first Cubone as well as a 600 CP Haunter and about two dozens Gasthlys and Mewoth's combined.

I am LOVING the boost in candy, as well as the increased Ghastlies and Haunters popping up everywhere. It has made catching and evolving a lot of my pokemon a whole lot less of a chore.

I really liked this event in the end. yesterday while I was at school I was able to get roughly 120 Meowth candies. It's great that I was able to get so many Meowths and then evolve the storngest CP ones, but none of them had any good strengths at all. Managed to get a decent amount of Drowzees and Cubones as well, which was a plus.


Can't wait for the next event.
