I don't watch so many modern cartoons,i still enjoy the ones i grew up with in the 90s but my cousin introduced Clarence to me and it is like something Nickelodeon would of shown back in the 90s,it is crazy and actually quite funny and takes some risks in some episodes, does anyone else know this cartoon?

I love Clarence! At first he annoyed me, but after awhile I enjoyed his quirkyness.

plasticinsanity : my favorite character from what i have seen so far has to be Jeff, there was an episode where he couldn't believe he failed an exam and ends up in a class with all the less gifted kids at school and he just can't take it,that's what i would be like and i like the fact he has a square head to show that he is a square lol

sonicbros : That episode for me, really developed Jeff's character from someone who's more mundane to someone a bit terrifying lol.

Sumo's my favorite, though.

I like it but it's definitely on the weird side of things. I just love the episode where the playground was being torn down bit by bit because someone thought it was too dangerous.

This show is extremely hit or miss for me.

I still watch quite a bit of Cartoon Network ( probably a lot more than a 25 year old guy should ) because I'm a huge "kid at heart" kind of person. This is one of the shows where there are maybe a handful or two of episodes I like, and the rest just don't do any thing for me at all.

My first impression of the show was basically that it was kind of dumb. And I don't mean like "Oh, I don't like it so it's dumb," but more so the fact that the show didn't carry much intelligence behind it. Even as a kid I preferred cartoons that would stimulate my mind, over some thing that was just silly for the sake of being silly. I can see shows like Gumball or Steven Universe actually conveying some what complex morals or using words that kids can learn from the context behind it, whereas shows like Clarence or Uncle Grandpa just don't seem to have any thing in them that is actually teaching the kid any thing while they are being entertained. Even as a child I remember learning a TON of new things simply from watching TV, so that's part of the reason those were the kinds of shows I enjoyed watching more often than not. But this is all just personal opinion. I'm sure there are plenty of people / children who enjoy the silliness for what ever reason, and that's fine too.

I will admit I liked the episode zander was talking about, and also the one where they go Skateboarding in Benson's pool, trying to be all "extreme" lol.

Clarence is pretty great. Although there have been a few hit or miss episodes, because they decided that they needed to push some politics, or decided that they want to give you "the feels" instead of being the wacky slice of life action that I love the show for having. Although I will give them credit, they don't go way over the top, and go so far into pushing idealologies that are definitely not for kids, nor should be something to get them riled up in (*cough cough*Steven Universe*cough cough*). It feels like a spiritual successor to Rugrats, only with...Probably worse artstyle, depending on who you ask. lol

I really like this cartoon, much more than I would have thought just seeing the commercials. I like how it's quirky in a ~out of school, summer sort of way even though I know some of the kids attend school in some eps. I think it's pretty... innocent, in a way.

I haven't watched this cartoon. I looked it up, and I don't think I would really watch it...I guess if I was still watching TV I would had probably watched it or not. It depends on how the cartoon is for me if I was to watch it.

During the whole of a dull, dark, and soundless day in the autumn of the year, when the clouds hung oppressively low in the heavens, I had been passing alone, on horseback, through a singularly dreary tract of country; and at length found myself, as the shades of the evening drew on.

Hm... I haven't seen this show, but now that you've mentioned it, I'm going to add it to my list. lol Usually, I watch at least one to three episodes of a show before I decide whether or not I would like to continue to watch more of it.

I watched one episode of this show and thought it was one of the dumbest things I have ever witnessed in my life. Actually, Uncle Grandpa is much worse than this show, nevermind...
