WWE SmackDown! Here Comes the Pain Review

Now this has to be one of my most favourite wrestling game ever to play. I played it a lot in my childhood days. So anyway lets get this review under way.

Story 6 out of 10: The game doesn't have much of a story but.....there is something called career mode in the game you get to play as one of the characters you have made. This will lead them to becoming a star, and the best wrestler in the game. That’s all sadly nothing much else to say about it.

Graphics 7 out of 10: The graphics was good, but not the best thing ever. As time grew on the creators who made smackdown games put in more feature into making the appearances seem visible and easily seen. In other new smackdown games like for instance SmackDown VS Raw.

Sound 7 out of 10: The music has a lot of hard rock in it, or mostly rock music. I didn't like all of the music because of how some played out to be. But for you, you might like all of the rock music on the game.

Addictiveness 8 out of 10: Its really fun to play, since you would get to play your favourite type of matches as well. For my favourite ones has to be 6 man match, royal rumble, and hardcore match. I enjoy playing these a lot which makes me to play them over and over again.

Difficulty 8 out of 10: Well the game starts off pretty normal. In time you can switch around the difficulty settings in the main menu if you feel the game is a bit to easy for you. There is easy, medium and there is hard I am sure you will want to choose that one. Let me warn you now if you choose hard. The wrestlers will be quite a challenge to face in the game either in career mode, or for when you choose a selected match you want to do.

Depth 7 out of 10: This game is a sequel to WWE SmackDown! Shut Your Mouth so if you have played this game first you would know what to expect from this game. WWE SmackDown Here Comes The Pain is also based on the WWE SmackDown! The tv series that was on tv. Then later Smackdown VS Raw was made which succeeded this game. And till today Smackdown wrestling games are still made because they were a really popular game to play. And I believe the newest one is on the ps4 if I can remember correctly. Also in this game you can get to make your very on wrestler either as a male or a female. So if any girls want to play the game you can make your very own female character.

Overall 7 out of 10: The is really fun to play, so if you like wrestling games or have played at least one. Then this game is something you need to try out. If you have not played this game yet I really recommend you to try it out. That’s if you are a big fan of watching a lot of wrestling on tv.

Good review, Eni. I personally think this game's a bit more fun than some of the later games on ps3 and 360, even though i didn't get to play it that much before the PS2 died. And yeah, the CAW (Create A Wrestler) Feature's really in depth in this and the other games! If you go on YouTube, you'll find tons of videos of people who have made a bunch of wrestlers from the past, actors, and even fictional characters like Spider-man, Mario, Batman, etc.

You know what? my brother actually made a character that was like Goku from Dragonball Z with his super sayian hair which I found funny on top of that he made his character wear sunglasses which made me to laugh so much! Its very funny of how creative people can be when they want to make a character out of anybody even from anime, as you said from Spiderman too. For me I didn't go that extreme with my character I chose something simple, and not too over the top like my brother did with his character. XD
