Prince of Persia Two Thrones Review
This is a ps2 game I played many years ago, and I remember coming across the game when I saw my brother play it. This perked up my attention to see what the game was about. And thus is how my adventure with prince of Persia games came to be. I have played The Sands of Time, Warrior Within and Two Thrones, but not The Forgotten Sands which is the last game in The Sands of Time series. Prince of Persia games was a headache to play, but I say it was worth it in the end to enjoy the game.
Story 8 out of 10: After the events of the previous game Prince of Persia Warrior Within. The Prince and Kaileena return to Babylon the princes kingdom aka hometown. As the Prince's ship comes close to the shores of the city he removes a medallion, and drops it into the sea. Upon returning to Babylon his home he is horrified to find that the city is currently being under attack. His ship is attacked by many fire arrows by the archers. He and Kaileena are thrown overboard this separates them both, the prince comes awake being afloat on a small raft he sees Kaileena taken prisoner after being drifted ashore. He makes it his mission to again try to rescue Kaileena, but ultimately finds his old enemy the Vizier once again alive. As the prince goes in for an attack the Vizier henchmen attacks strikes him down, and is held prisoner. The prince has no choice, but to watch as the Vizier kill Kaileena with the Dagger of Time. Which unleashes the Sands of Time once more. The Vizier then impales himself with the Dagger making himself immortal. The Prince is also affected by the sands of time.
Graphics 7 out of 10: The graphics are the same as the previous 2 games. I can only say some parts have matured while some other parts stay the same.
Sound 8 out of 10: The soundtrack to the game is pretty much similar if not a little different. In this game it’s Kaileena who is narrating instead of the prince. Since he was the one that did the first two previous ones.
Addictiveness 7 out of 10: Its addictive. If you have played the other prince of Persia games then you would know what to expect. Mainly because of the climbing also the voices as well when the prince talks about the recent events or wondering what has happened to his kingdom while he was away.
Difficulty 9 out of 10: Its more harder I think with the new releases that came out after the sands of time. The puzzles become a lot more harder to deal with when you need to reach certain places. The difficulty again can drive you mad if you not calm about what you do.
Depth 9 out of 10: If you have played the other 2, then you would know what to expect from the third game of prince of Persia. Its complex so the best way to start understanding the series is to play The Sands of Time which is the first game. Then Warrior Within which is the second. If you jump any of these games you will feel confused because of how the storyline is, and you wouldn't want your mind going crazy.
Overall 9.3: If you have played the first two games then you will love two thrones. Its am amazing game to play I recommend you to play, if you are into prince of Persia games.
Thank you for taking the time to read my review. I hope it peaks up your interests to try and play the game if you do remember its not easy, but that’s what makes the game enjoyable and with lots of challenges as well. ^-^
