I actually love Halloween!! My favourite part about Halloween is watching Halloween shows & movies on Halloween Night!! I gives out trick or treats and of course eat some of those while giving them out!!

I love Halloween but to be honest I've never experienced a proper Halloween. We don't celebrate it the way you guys do in the US. Our equivalent to Halloween in Finland is Easter, when kids dress up as witches and go from door to door, asking for candy in exchange for their decorated willow branches. I used to love Easter as a kid, it was the best event of the year.

The first time I dressed up for Halloween was when I started studying in uni. It has become more common in recent years that night clubs hold their own Halloween parties. So once, I dressed up together with my friends but I suppose if you're not of age and going to a official party, dressing up is not that common. Elementary schools may celebrate Halloween but I'm not that sure.

sillysoul : I'm in Canada but close enough lol. Our Easter actually consists of bunny rabbits dropping off eggs in houses and in yards (it's as weird as it sounds lol), so that's kind of neat.

I'm not going to be dressing up or going to any parties or anything, but I'll still end up passing out candy to the kids who do. If nothing else, I can at least help the next generation to enjoy the holiday as much as I did when I was younger lol.

This is my first Halloween in a residential area, really. Prior to this, I had lived entirely in rural settings, so never had any kids walk up to our door, or such.

This year, I'll be giving out candy to kids, while I am dressed as Harambe.

A spooky Harambe anyway. But I haven't been this excited in a longgg time.

I don't think I'll be doing anything special this year...it's been about 3 years since I've actually gone trick-or-treating anyway. The main reason I don't do it anymore (besides having a job and considering myself too old for it) is because of the neighborhood I live in. My neighbors are all grouches that never turn their outside lights on on an ordinary night (my neighborhood is almost always pitch black on any given night), so it makes sense that they wouldn't bother putting any effort into decorating for Halloween or even Christmas. It's gotten so bad that I can count the amount of people that trick-or-treat in my area on one hand. About 5-6 years ago, my family actually decided to drive and park in the parking area of a much nicer, WELL LIT neighborhood where there are plenty of decorated houses and people giving out candy. 

Even though I won't be getting/giving out candy this year, at least my younger brother and sister will be able to enjoy it. I would say that my favorite part of Halloween is putting the effort into the type of costume I wear. I would always wear some pretty wicked stuff when I actually went trick-or-treating. Getting/giving candy is always a nice bonus too.

We may or may not hand out candy this year. Last year we bought a bunch up...and no one came by. Lol Not good because then you can guess who ended up eating it all. Yeah.

I like Halloween but not all of the "scary" stuff like horror movies and all that. I just enjoy the decorations and the specials on television... well some of the specials on television. Especially cartoon specials because I'm a cartoon fanatic (grow up? What's that mean?).


But yeah from mid October through late December I feel is the happiest time of year. I love it so much and I nerd out even more. You guys just think I'm bubbly and goofy the rest of the year...if you ever see what I'm really like this time of year... oh gosh. xD

We don't actually celebrate Halloween, but if we did, I would dress up as an absolutely period perfect Nazi soldier and even go as far as to have a mock up of a Kar 98K made, learn conversational German and a couple old war hymns just to see what kind of a reaction I would get. I don't know if I could keep it together after seeing the shock and disbelief lol

Aside from chocolate what is your favorite halloween candy? I'd have to say mine are ones that are fruity, like lollipops. I don't know why, but fruit is just one of my favorite things. I guess it's because I'm a Yoshi or something

legacyme3 : How is Harambe spooky? We get about 10-20 kids here, so anything left over I eat. Sometimes before the kids start, sometimes while they're trick-or-treating, always after. And by sometimes I mean usually... ok always.

In my town, trick-or-treating over the age of 12 isn't allowed, but I still dress up and have fun with friends.

Because we only have a few neighbors, we don't get too many trick-or-treaters- just our cousins.

For this year, I will be dressing up as a pimp! It's gonna be pretty groovy!

I'm planning on hanging out at a friend's house with a few others in costume to eat junk food and play video games.

I have a fun change of plans from what I was originally going to do for Halloween.

I'm going to be going with my friends to Six Flags and Fright Night, and we are going to have a blast. We're going to spend the whole day there, from roughly 11 AM until 9 PM.
