I'm sure if you have attended school and have had PE class or recess, you have played a game of some sort. Whether that be a real sport or a made up game, there are a lot of fun things to do. What was your favorite game from a PE class? What was your favorite to play at recess? If it's not a well known sport or game, please describe. 

For PE, I'd have to say this game called Prison Break. It's a variant of dodgeball. The class is divided into two teams and all the dodgeballs are placed in the center of the gym. You basically throw at the other team, and if you get hit, or someone on the other team catches a ball that you threw, you are out. However, unlike traditional dodgeball, you must go to prison (which is located in a corner of the other team's side). The only two ways you can get out are if the teacher calls jailbreak (in which case everyone in jail on both teams gets out) or a person throws a dodgeball and it lands inside the basketball hoop on the opposing team's side. In that case, whoever made the basket gets to have only their team get out of jail. It's a really fun game and our class almost always voted this game or another dodgeball variant called Star Wars to play.

For recess, I'd have to definitely go with kickball. Kickball is pretty famous and most people know what it is, so I won't go on about it. 

I think for me would be cricket at the time for PE or badminton since I enjoyed those a lot more. For recess we played this game called Polo I don't know if anyone has heard of it. Basically is when 2 teams go against each other. We find 2 trees that are opposite each other one person stands before the tree while the person from the other team does. You run to the opposite team's tree as fast as you can to spell out polo out loudly while the person from the other team does the same. Whoever gets back to their tree before the opposite wins. I dunno if I explained it well enough for you to understand. If not please just say.

RDay13 : Oh I never told you? I was really good at cricket back then. I was the best batter, and thrower they had I hit the ball hard as it is shown in that meme you put up lol. Also I played one tournament I was asked by the principal of my school I happily excepted and I managed to make my team win lol we came home with medals. XD

I enjoyed blob tag, where one person is designated as the blob, they have to tag someone and link hands, if those two tag two more people then the 4 split into two blobs of 2 people.

It continues until the last person is caught, or they just outlast everyone.

I remember being a chubby kid in 4th grade and making it to the end, and I managed to run through the tiniest gap in the blob army, it didn't last long though, I was caught when I turned.

My favourite school game would possibly be Jump Start: 1st grade, I use to love playing that alot in the 4th grade, speaking of 4th grade I've played alot of Jump Start: 4th grade (which was the spooky Jump Start game)  I say it is a perfect Halloween game!!


Edit: But I'm going to say my favourite productive school activity because this might have been what you meant so I would have to go with Dodgeball, how I love those great school memories, I wasn't really good at Dodgeball but I still had alot of fun even though I pretty much got mad everytime I was out of the game!!

At my elementary school we played with beyblades all the time. Every time during recess we would have duals and tournaments and it was a ton of fun.

I'm glad to hear that people still play Prison Break, it was one of my favorite games in school. Games which include...

Baseball, Softball, Football (Flag football in particular), Kickball (4 Squares), Soccer, Frisbee, Basketball (Around the world and Knock Out), Freeze-Tag, a game that's like Curling, walking on the monkey bars (only when no one's looking), making clay bombs and throwing them (be careful not to put rocks into them!), jump rope exercises and swinging on the swings (does this even count?) to occasionally do the forbidden jump because I was crazy like that (shhh).

Can you tell that I loved P.E./Gym and recess? =P I even liked jumping jacks, and most everyone hated those. XD

All in all, I'd say my favorite game for casual play was probably Dodgeball too with its many variants (although I'm usually the last one on my team). If we're talking about varsity sports though, that's another matter. =P
