So Cloud has recently made his smash debut, and he's a fairly well done character.

But I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels like he's not the only character that should be in there.

The same thing applies with Sonic, there are characters that could easily blend in here and there and make great additions to the roster.
I'm SC64 and this is my list of people from FF and Sonic that could easily fit into the smash brothers series.


Number 1: Zidane from FF9.
Simply put, I'd think without a shadow of a doubt Zidane would be a good fit due to his fighting style and his cartoonist appearance in FF9.   He really doesn't use weapons, and he has a strange force within him that makes him stronger.

Number 2: Yuna.
Yeah I know it's a bit controversial here, but she's arguably the most popular female character in the entire FF series(I think she's rivaled by aerith though ) 

Basically she'd work as a spell caster, and her b attacks would be variant of her pistols that she used in FFX-2(I know FFX-2 was a bad entry, but still... the concept could work for smash brothers) 

And because she was able to summon Aeon's in the Original FFX, She'd already have a good final smash.

Number 3: Shadow the Hedgehog.
Why they left out Shadow in the new installment is kind of mind boggling.     He was a trophy character along others like Little Mac,  Little Mac eventually got in this new installment.
Shadow the hedgehog should be a playable character too,  since he's a variant of sonic(Like he originally was) he'd play similar but have some special B attacks.

Number 4: Amy.
Amy could very well work,  Thanks to King Dedede it's possible proof that characters using the Hammer weapon is entirely possible.   So Amy would play similar, but in a way I think she should have a final smash that is similar to Princess Peach's.

Peach is in a weird league by herself alone, so why not crank it up and add Amy rose lol.

   Simple answer. They are guest characters. Guest franchises generally only have one or two characters. Also Shadow in Smash as a trophy character? He is one of the most poorly designed characters ever. Also what would make him different from sonic? Amy is slightly different but still not worth putting in the game. If they are going to put in another Sonic character they need to put in Eggman.

So yeah there wouldn't be much differences considering smash has clone characters, a lot of them to be precise.

My picks would be Tidus...As an assist trophy. His laugh can knock people back super far.

Yuna sounds really cool, I'd like to see her in smash!

And for Sonic, the Smash Bros mod Legacy XP has a really good custom made Metal Sonic, and I'd really like to see Metal get a chance in Smash.
Aside from him, my second pick has to be Knuckles. Come on, we NEED the new porcupine on the block with the buff chest, in the wilderness with the ruggedness. Knock knock, it's Knuckles, the bloat thrower! Independent flower, Magical Emerald holder! He'll give you the colder shoulder, and all that.

I find it kinda sad that ssb decided to have cloud be the first representative of the final fantasy franchise. One thing I notice in ssb is that every character that is a newcomer comes from a sequel of the original characters game series or from the game the first character comes from. A notable example is the mother series. Lucas is introduced in brawl and ninten from mother 1 is highly unlikely to ever make an appearance anytime soon.

I think nintendo and square should of taken a look at super smash flash 2's inclusion of black mage. Having a character well known from the first ff game would of been better, and if ssb were to include any character from before ff7, it would be kinda wrong in a way. I also wonder if sony is upset three musics from a playstation system are being used by one of their competitors? Also, my theory as to why cloud only speaks japanese is because he canon appearances in the ff series are completely foreign to nintendo systems. he may appear in kh, but thats a spin off series.

For me, I could picture barret from ff7 as being a heavy class character with big shot charging similar to samus's charge shot. and other stuff.

Knuckles (I think he is Sonic) would make a great addition unless he is already in smash bros.

Final FANtasy :

Sabin: He is a martial artist and a beast in combat.

Tifa : She is the hand to hand fighter in FF7 and let's face it,we all like Tifa.

Zell : FF8's hand to hand fighter and he has a good heart.

Having Yuna in the game would be cool but I wouldn't mind seeing Auron either.
