thing1 : This was Fox's 2nd season with the team and the Bears had the trestman train-wreck before that.

Bears fans new a rebuild was needed, but I think fans expected there to be a few more bright spots this season. Sadly the only real bright spot was Howard.

Abdullahboys : he's often the scapegoat, but really the Bears never really gave him the line or the weapons his first couple years with the team. Not to mention the issues with having a different offensive coordinator every year.

I'm not saying he's amazing by any means, but he's certainly good enough to work with in the right situations. Just like Most other mediocre NFL QB's out there.

I haven't seen New York hype up a playoff appearance this much in a long time. Sure in 2015 everyone went crazy when the Mets made the playoffs but that was it. There was hype and then it built up with every win. This time the Giants just make the Wild Card and the entire city is already expecting a super bowl ring.

Then again, the Giants team name in general has had a fantastic track record over the past decade, especially out of the Wild Card.

The first 3 playoff games results were not surprising at all. They pretty much went the way I thought they would, though I thought the Lions would put up more of a fight.

The Packers/Giants however I expect to be different. If I was a gambling man, I'd put my money on the Giants. People for some reason are saying the Packers will go to the Super Bowl, which I think is ridiculous for the following reason: Their secondary is atrocious. I expect the Giants to bring the Packers win streak to a screeching halt.

That was not the kind of game that I was expecting for the Giants. I thought they would win, an even if they did't, I would have thought that they wouldn't get blown out by that much.

2nd time in the past few months that a New York team gets knocked out of the playoffs in the Wild Card round. Ironic that the first time was against the Giants.

I'm surprised that all the Wild Cards teams lost. Usually, one or two of them make it through.

I really wanted the Giants to win so that they could beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl again if the Patriots make it.

Well, so much for my last prediction. I will say this though, eventually the Packers secondary is going to cause them to lose a game.

As far as the divisional round goes, here's my predictions.

Steelers at Chiefs: Chiefs win
The Chiefs got owned in their game against the Steelers in the regular season. Since then though, they've been on a roll. I expect the Chiefs defense and Tyreek Hill to take over the game. Ben will keep the Steelers in it, but I feel that in the end, the Chiefs will get their revenge.

Seahawks at Falcons: Falcons win

I think Matt Ryan will strengthen his case for MVP by beating the Seahawks. The Seahawks are traveling to the East Coast, and they've had offensive line issues all season. I think that being without Earl Thomas will haunt the Seahawks this week.

Texans at Patriots: Patriots win

Brock Osweiler's performance against the Raiders was a fluke. I expect this game to go the same way this match went in the regular season. The Texans got destroyed by a Brissett lead Pats team, so imagine what will happen now that Brady's playing.

Packers at Cowboys: Cowboys win

I see Dak Prescott and the Cowboys passing game taking over this game. They have plenty of talented receivers who can make big plays against an awful Packers secondary. Zeke will also have a good game, but I see this game being more about Dak. The Packers can only rely on Aaron Rodgers Hail Mary's for so long. Eventually, their achilles heel will come back to haunt them.

gamerforlifeforever : The funny thing about Fluke Osweiler is that he actually helped the Broncos beat the Patriots last season in overtime and he did it with a very bad offensive line. This may be why Osweiler got paid such big bucks by Texans (I see no other reason honestly). He has had the luxury of being on teams that have #1 defense in NFL (Broncos and Texans) for two years in a row.

JigSaw : Yeah, I remember that game. That's the only reason I can think of that they gave him that contract as well. Once Osweiler gets destroyed by the Pats for the 2nd time as a Texan, there will be no doubt Osweiler is one of the biggest free agent busts ever. The Texans would've won that Raiders game even if they had started Tom Savage.

The Raiders are terrible without Derek Carr. The only good defensive players they have are Khalil Mack and Reggie Nelson, and they had the most penalties in the NFL.

gamerforlifeforever : So, you think the chief's D-line can hold Lev'eon Bell through the whole game? They may be able to stop the passing game for the Steelers but if Bell gets one good momentum building run I think the Steelers can take off and never look back.

Abdullahboys : I think they'll be able to hold him long enough to get the win. I know the Chiefs were one of the worst run defenses in the league this season, but they've forced more turnovers than anyone else in the league. If anyone can cause one of the best ball protecting running backs in the league to fumble and Ben to throw INT's, it's the Chiefs.

Gamer better be right, the Cowboys better destroy the Packers after what they did to the Giants. It would have been nice seeing my favorite team play my hometown team but oh well, whatever happens, Dak better bring his best game.

Well, I'm just hoping the Steelers defense can hold the Chiefs offense long enough for Pittsburgh to score enough to win. The good thing is their defense is improving but I hope they'll be good enough.

Well, the Super Bowl matchup has been set! The Atlanta Falcons are back in the Super Bowl after 18 or 19 years. The New England Patriots are making their 7th appearance in that time span. Both are very great teams, but if you had asked me who would win the NFC at the beginning of this year, I definitely would not have said the Falcons. They have proven critics and skeptics wrong (including myself) who thought this team would "choke" again, but it seems that they have gotten over the hump. It kinda sucks that most of them have to play their first Super Bowl (since none of them were around in 1998) against the New England Patriots. The Patriots are very experienced, which is defnitely a big advantage.

I have no dog in this fight, but both of these teams are very impressive. Atlanta has the best offense in the league and New England has the best defense (in terms of points allowed). It's really hard for me to believe this Falcons offense can be stopped because they have honestly looked unstoppable as of late. However, never bet against Tom Brady and Bill Belicheck. I think the Patriots will win this in a rather "low scoring" game considering these two teams' offenses 24-21. I hope this is at least a good game since only 1 out of the 10 games in these playoffs (GB vs DAL) have been close. It's been byfar one of, if not the most boring playoffs in recent years. Hopefully this game redeems it and provides us with lasting iconic memories. Good luck to both teams and their fans! I hope my team makes it to the big game next year

Well I was hoping for a Steelers Falcons Superbowl just because I'm sick of seeing the Pats in it like every other year seemingly, but this should be a fun Superbowl.

I'm not a fan of either team, but I shall be rooting for the Falcons. They have a great offensive team and Ryan is certainly playing at an MVP level. I don't believe the Pats have the defense to shut down the Falcons very balanced and dangerous offense.

I really hope the Falcons can pull this off. They've been playing great all year, but I think the main reason why they have been able to make the Super Bowl is because of their defensive play in the playoffs. There has been plenty of talk about this team's offense for most of the year...rightfully so. But our defense seems to have peaked at the right time for us to be able to go this far. They have been making a few big plays a game against both Seattle and Green Bay.

We're probably seeing each conference's best teams play against each other in Super Bowl LI this year. Win or lose I'm proud of what the Falcons have accomplished this year, and I hope that they can be a force for years to come. My prediction, as biased as it may sound but I promise its not , will be 38 - 34 in favor of the good guys! #RISEUP

I would have liked to have seen what the Raiders could have done if it had not been for them losing some of their key players right at the end of the season. Including one of the MVP favorites at the time, Carr.

I can't really care much for the Super Bowl as much as I would have liked because the three times that I like all made it into the playoffs and were all eliminated. Not to mention that they were all really great teams, so the odds that this were to happen were really low.

For the past couple of years I have been hating the Patriots, but this time around I'll be going for them, I just don't really have that great a history with Atlanta.

I hope.... the Falcons MURDER the Pats. However being more realistic I still think the falcons win but it'll definitely be a close game. A very high scoring close game. As much as both teams have really good D I still think it'll come down to whoever's offense makes a mistake first or whoever's defense can stop that offense in the clutch.
But I'll still be rooting for the Falcons from the kickoff up until it's officially decided that they've beat the Patriots.

Well, I knew the Pats and Falcons would win their respective championship games, I just didn't realize that they would be such massive blowouts.

As for the Super Bowl, I want the Falcons to win just so we can see a new champion, but I'm picking the Patriots to win. In Super Bowls where the number 1 scoring defense and number 1 scoring offense played against each other, history has shown that the scoring defense has won more times. That would favor the Patriots. Both offences feature the 2 top MVP candidates,  and talented receivers. They both also feature high quality running backs (Davonta Freeman for Atlanta, and the Lagarrete Blount/Dion Lewis combo for New England). The big difference maker in this game to me is on defense, and there, the Pats have the advantage.

Give Tom Brady credit, he was good when he needed to be. Truth is though, the REAL MVP for the Pats in that game was the Atlanta coaches, and the players. Especially on offense....
Why Atlanta called some of the plays they did down the stretch is beyond me. 3 and 1 late in the game and all you need is a FG to make it a 3 possession game, and you go with an empty backfield?? Your team is averaging like 6 yards a carry and you completely abandon the run game? One of the best running teams in the league??

I don't think I've ever seen a team fall apart that badly before. I feel for Falcons fans. Damn glad I'm not a fan otherwise I would be feeling pretty horrible right now.

Crazy that it seems like Quinn learned NOTHING watching his Seahawks lose to the Pats a few years prior....
