So, yesterday I finally saved up enough Viz to buy a beta test ticket to play a game I've been wanting to play since I was a child, Shining Force 3.
I also was finally able to download the RGR plug-in (which by the way is AWESOME!). However I used the ticket only to find out that the game is not working. I didn't know whom to contact or what to do, so I came here. If the game can be fixed, I would prefer that as apposed to a refund (if it even works that way), as I would love to be one of the people to first play it on here. Anyway, someone please respond, I would be sorely grateful.

Well I feel smart. I thought that my beta ticket was used up, however I just looked in my inventory and it is still there. I take it that since the game didn't load, the ticket was not used up. Or something like that, I don't know how it works. Yep certainly still feel like the newbie that I am. My apologies Vizzed! Still want to play that game though... Laughing out loud!

The Beta Test Ticket, is an RGR key item that lets you have access to features that have yet to be released to the rest of the Vizzed community. When you buy it and play a game, it's not redeemed, but gives you access to any and all current and future beta features on the site, as long as it's in your inventory.

If you're referring to Shining Force III for the Sega Saturn, then I'm afraid there isn't a lot that can be done at this point in time... The RGR plugin emulates Sega Saturn with MESS, which is pretty appropriately named, in my opinion... While it supports a long list of platforms, it's very difficult to configure and the compatibility and overall functionality is less than stellar. At least, up to this point. Until MESS is improved or David manages to find the budget to have another emulator added to the plugin, that particular game probably isn't going to work.

m0ssb3rg935 summed it up nicely. The file that the RGR plugin is using for this game is for the US version (and is a re-dump), I tested today the non-re-dump, Europe version, and Japan version (since there is an English translation patch available for it) an none of them work correctly in MESS.

If I'm not mistaken, it has to do with the save file that is generated.
For whatever reason, the emulator crashes when there is a save file in the folder.
Alternatively, you could delete the save file and use save states to keep your progress.
