Spicy! No, Sweet!  No, Spicy! No, Sweet! No... I think I love them both equally... XD Like Vanelan said, why not both sweet AND spicy? =P  lol

How sweet...? I eat pretty much every kind of sweet under the sun  (unless it's something I deem not edible), including pure cane sugar, honey, and fruit sugar.

How spicy...? Hm... I was trained to eat spicy foods by someone that always eats the spiciest and hottest stuff in all of the restaurants he frequents (all the chefs know him and give him their special hot sauces because they know he can appreciate it). After he found out I could eat spicy foods like him, he went out of his way to order the same things he eats for me as well... and same serving sizes as well. oO;; Other people probably had their doubts that a little girl in a fluffy pink dress could eat the same spicy foods, but he knew I could eat them so he saw no issues with ordering them. I probably owe my love of beef and steak to him, because he loved beef noodle soup, was very picky about which restaurants he considered to be good, and often brought me to the ones that served the spiciest beef noodle soups or hot pots. Unlike him, I don't sweat when I eat spicy foods, so it's much harder for other people to tell that what I'm eating is spicy until they either smell the fragrance from a distance or move closer to actually look at the food. =P *Thinks back to the times when people would order the same things as what was on our table just because they noticed we looked like we were happily enjoying our food.* ^^0 Sadly, I'm not a cuisine connoisseur like him since I never seriously tried to find only the finest foods and I'm not a picky eater (even though I do come from a line of people that have been certified for wine and *classified subject* taste-testing, I only drink on special occasions for fun and will never smoke). I eat all kinds of chili (again, not picky about them) and yes, that includes habanero, ghost chili peppers and some tiny peppers that were home-grown by one of the restaurant chefs but that I don't know the name of and that are the hottest/spiciest I've had the pleasure of eating by far. (I don't know its name but I do know that touching them burns the hands D= , so I'm not too keen on trying to chop them up again without gloves.)

This is a hard question.

I'd probably have to go with sweet, because of all things chocolate and pastry and all of that stuff. I really love everything sweet, and honestly it doesn't really matter how sweet it is, I'll still eat it and enjoy it.

However, I do like a lot of spicy foods, but I don't really want too awfully spicy, of that just gets hard to eat.

In all seriousness, I'm not sure why but I like spicy foods more. Some sweets gives me a sore throat somehow...

I seriously love vinegar though.

I prefer spicy, i want to live that spicy life, not eating bland foods like potatoes all day. And yes i always like sweet things too.

Depends on the type of food, obviously I don't want desserts to be spicy, but I love spicy food, Chinese Food, Mexican Food, or even BBQ. One thing I love to do is put jalapeños on my burger, not a ton of them, but just enough that it gives you a nice kick.

I much rather prefer spicy foods, in fact I'll almost prefer anything over sweet because I'm not really that much a fan of sweet foods, and can probably only have one or two sweet things before I start getting sick of it, but I can ALWAYS eat spicy food, whether the food is already spicy or I put tons of hot sauce on it.

Food that's both sweet AND spicy is the best though, like sweet and hot beef, or those Doritos chips.

With the exception of chocolate, spicy food.

Now I don't want anything ghost chili level but normal spicy food is delicious.

Also encourages you to drink more which is always a good thing, especially when it's this hot outside.

Really, I like both, even at the same time sometimes. I'll pretty much eat whatever's available as long as it's not something I find to be disgusting. It really depends on what craving I have at that moment as to which I prefer, but no doubt, you can't go wrong with some decent chipotle BBQ chicken wings. Best of both worlds.
