Intro:This is the sequal to BGDA for ps2/XBOX

Graphics:They use an overhead kind of view with a constantly shifting camera,a little hard to get used to at first,its called the Snowblind Graphics Engine

Gameplay:It is kind of an action RPG type game,you can play as one of 7 charicters (5 main 2 hidden)it supports twwo player and it is pretty fun that way or by yourself.you go around the town of baulder's gate doing quest that send you from the dark wood to the elemental plane of shadow.it is a pretty cool item system,there is 1000's of items and you can make your own!It is BASED (and i say this VERY loosly)on 3rd idition Dungeons and dragons,you level up and learn various feats and spells.you can equip a helmet,body armor,boots,gloves,2 rings,1 amulet,and 3 different kinds of weapons and a sheild or another one handed weapon(instead of a sheild)(3 weapon catergories are:1 handed,2 handed,ranged)

controls:simple and strait-forward it reminds me of arcade controls for a fighting game.

triangle=jump
square=action button(open doors,chests,talk to people)
left/right=cycle through feats/spells
up/down=switch weapon
R1=block or target line
R2=healing potion
L2=mana potion
start=pause
select=inventory/stats/quests

review:i think this is an okay game,its a little Linear but thats okay,not much replay value,but still fun to play,the screen can get a little hectic and if you dont constantly watch your health bar,you will die witch sucks!RENT BEFORE YOU BUY!!!if you have played any of snowblind's other games theres nothing new or amasing here...

I've wanted to play this game! It's probably down to $20 now. Me and a friend (cid from thsi board) played the first together and beat it, great game it was!

yeah,at X-mas i got it 4 like 15 bucks used (canadian tho)
