I rage quit Project Cars in the middle of a race and got a refund for it on steam.
That game is so broken and it really irritated me.  >.<
I just really wanted to like the game and I was just really disappointed by it.

I would have to say prince or Persia games.....that game is so annoying to do I mean I really like the game an all. But, the puzzle and clues are too much like you have to find pathways on the most highest of places. And there will be most levels that you get stuck on since you think most areas are unreachable. They are, but you have to figure out how to get there. When you try so many times you just rage quit....another one would be the weapon bosses in ff7 I came close to beating emerald and it still killed my team as for ruby weapon he didn't leave any space for my team to fight, and before I even know it.....they got demolished. I've tried so many times on my own, and I refuse to look for help on it on youtube....

I used to be one of those kids that broke controllers and stuff.

I don't do that anymore but sometimes I still get really pissed off at games.

I have rage quit at a lot of games, too many to count haha.

It's been a long time where I raged really hard. I usually just cuss a few times, and just turn the game off, although I was doing a let's play of Hotline Miami and when I was in the final boss fight I kept dying and I was starting to feel my blood boil, but that game is tough as hell as is, so I wasn't going to break anything, plus usually if I mess up in a game, it's my own fault, unless the game is poorly made lol.

There are some tough NES games that definitely fit the mold of rage quit worthy. Castlevania, Ninja Gaiden, and even Contra. Then there are some games like Dr. Jekyll, Mr. Hyde which is just a mess, and even games like Somario, sure it's a pirated game, but it's still frustrating lol. Then on later consoles, Hooter's Road Trip, what a garbage game that is, I get that it's a cheap cash in for the Hooter's restaurant chain but the controls are complete garbage.

I would have to say I've raged quit on the Moltres boss in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Red/Blue Rescue Team. Kept dying as that boss was a story requirement and at the time I had no Reviver Seeds. I did eventually bear him, but I raged quit a lot on that boss fight.

acool193 : For me, rage quitting is a rarity. I'm a fairly tenacious gamer, but every now and then... Basically, the only game that I have rage quit on multiple occasions is Super Smash bros for the wii U. Now I love Super Smash Bros. but when you play online with other people, you never know what kind of player you are up against, whether they are some sort of troll, spammer, or pro. It's actually pretty rare for me to go up against a player that I would actually consider a "Pro". A lot of players...(just the ones I end up fighting are either spammers or trolls. Or they use op characters like cloud and bayonetta [who I still say does not belong in the game!!!] I've been getting better at the game recently, so rage quitting happens much less often than it used to, but still...every now and then...

The sports ones where the computer cheats and does something to catch up or take a lead always get me fired up. Notably, PlayStation 2's NCAA football 2008 has a super speed burst by the other team's running backs and receivers that seem to make them pull away from corners and safeties when I'm about to tackle them. They go and score what seem like impossible touchdowns. Sometimes I'll challenge a play on the field and the video evidence shows I'm absolutely correct but they won't reverse the call and I feel like I get cheated.

I don't mind losing but it feels cheap some times. When the computer gets down, the computer likes to even things up and put up a few touchdowns just to make life hard. And when the computer is way up, the computer doesn't slow down for me. it's one-sided and it feels cheap.

Even though the game is fantastic, most of my experiences with Shovel Knight ended in rage quits. The mechanic of how whenever you die, you lose half of your treasure, and you have to retrieve it, and if you fail to retrieve it, you just keep losing treasure, that design choice killed me. It's genius, but it made me quite irritated at the game and I'd need a break after dying a few times, because I would feel like all of my treasure hunting had gone to waste. Which, essentially, it had.
It's a wonderful game, though.

I hardly ever go into rage quit. But there has been three games that caused me to do it.

First one was Super Mario Brothers Lost Levels. I like games that challenge you. But that game was just brutal I mean really brutal. I got more game over's in that game than any other game.

Second, one was Mega Man I. The reason was that game had a lot of glitches in it that would cause you to miss a platform and fall into a pit. So yeah i got frustrated at that one. I remember stomping a few times on that one.

Third, was Mega Man II for Game Boy. It wasn't the difficulty. It was the sound in that game. It was bad and it had a lot of tingles to it. I hate tingles and it messes with my sensory.

Five Nights at Freddy's 3. I've had the game for two days already and I've been so much more angry than scared. Every time I get close to beating a night booom I die.

Haha, this one has a funny story. I was playing super paper Mario on the Wii like a year(?) ago and was trying the pit of a 100 trials. I made it all the way to the end (took me like 4 hours) and I just got rekt by the boss. My friends were laughing so hard and I was unbelievably pissed.

Oh and Minecraft, parkour specifically. I have no clue why but Minecraft parkour brings out the worst of me. I always thought those videos of guys slamming desks and whatnot was faked but I recorded myself playing once and noticed how often I'm screaming, cursing and slamming my desk lol. It's also happened a few times on the Vizzed minecraft server, as some people might have experienced.

Honestly, I think I've ragequit on just about every game I've ever owned, even though I came back to beat them later.

I rage quit on Rust a lot. Im playing solo cause my friends doesn't play the game. Its just when youre farming wood and stone and then you have enough for a s**t shack and when you go online the next morning, your base got raided. Making a huge base on rust is a dream that never happens to me. I also get killed while farming stone pretty often, the worst was when i have about 10k stone in my inventory and a man with a crossbow just nutted my head, i rage quit and stop playing the game for a while after that.

I think the Soul series has the most ragequits out of me. I don't know in particular which one, but the rubber band difficulty that the series is known for can just fill me with so much fury and abhorrence that I have to genuinely try to not snap the disc in half. I think it's got the only games that I've ever gotten pissed off enough at that I actually had to quit playing before I started hurting things.

Dark Souls definitely made me want to quit when I tried fighting Ornstein and Smough, the most infamous bosses of the entire game. I tried to kill them for six hours, repeatedly trying over and over again, consistently being screwed by the same things but seeing no solution to those issues...I did eventually beat them, though. Once I looked and saw someone at level 1 beat them both without any issues at all, I kinda felt like a complete and utter buffoon. If I played the game again today, I think I could probably do a lot better against them.

I think I rage quitted at Dark Souls last year. I'm gonna give it another try this year, due to a competition I'm in that I want to make it for at least half of the year.

I've given up on Mega Man 2 for a while now. I still have my password for the stage I was at (Wily Fortress 4) but I dunno when I'll be continuing it. I'm still rage quitting it right now.

No doubt about it, Super Mario Maker. This is because of all the crappy and hard levels everyone decides to make and makes me cry in a corner.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
