zanderlex : DANG...... that's a lot of money how can you see its not high?! That's a really good amount to be paid by in total, but if I am correct people would say its not enough and need more. Ok what are the normal payments you work in days, that lead up to 180 dollars? @.@

Eniitan : What? 180 a week isn't even enough for a place to live. If 180 was a lot, other people wouldn't have to give me food.

zanderlex : Oh I see....sorry I was looking at it from another prospective, as I thought it wouldn't be enough. I do hope next time around they can offer a bigger bonus of money for you. '-'

Eniitan : Well next summer the minimum wage will go up by like 50 cents, but hopefully I can have a regular job before that so I wouldn't even have to get this job again.

zanderlex : Ah I see...... that's a least good to hear, and I hope you get a regular job too it would really help you out. I know its not always easy trying to get the job you need to pay off a lot of things, so I wish you the very best of luck on that.

Look at it this way: You got some valuable experience, something you can put on a resume,a bit of cash and hopefully made a contact or two.

Oldschool77: yep, the last day we had a workshop and they even told us what to do for our resumes and stuff. Though I heard stories of what other guys did in their departments and now I feel like I learned the least of everyone lol. There was one guy directly involved in the construction of subway tunnels and one lady who helped build subway car wheels.

So what's the plan now? You're learning things, you have a job. Are you going to continue getting better at that job and stay within that organization and work your way up? Do they only limit you to 28 hours or can you go full time with benefits?

Have you asked your manager what the career trajectory looks like? That's a good question to ask so you can see what, if anything, is available and you can plan appropriately for your next move.

Good for you working. That's a nice thing to do and you have something to take pride in, like a paycheck and new skills.

Ghostbear1111 : Nope, I won't do any of that. I'll start school again in a few weeks and in 3 or 4 years I might be able to go back to this organization full time. I was working 25 hours a week with no benefits. I would have asked one of my bosses something like that but I'll probably never see them again now.
