Holy mackerel, how long it has been. Is it just me, or does even the air itself feel more clear with coming back after such a sudden purge from most of the internet?

Hey everyone, remember me?

...Probably not, but it's okay, because now I'm back so you guys CAN remember me!

I'd like to first and foremost apologize for having had to leave so suddenly. A lot of personal issues came up, all at once almost, and was causing a lot of grief and hardship around me. While I'm still having trouble getting through that, I'm happy with the fact that I'm well enough currently to be back on the internet for the most part. It had been so much fun to be around this forum, and to have died off from it so quickly was disappointing for me, but very necessary.

I won't bore you with the details, and honestly wouldn't want to say even if I was okay with that, for numerous reasons, but all you need to know is that I'm okay enough to start slowly coming back. Honestly, it was inevitable; a certain friend of mine who I speak to often wouldn't let me forget this place completely, to be quite honest. I won't name him, since he's never around on the forums themselves, anyways, but hey, he deserves at least an anonymous mention, I guess.

I'm really, REALLY happy to be back, though, and I hope to get back in the groove of things. Honestly, it's been, what, a couple of months? It's gonna be hard to catch up again on things... ^-^"

I know we've never really talked before, but I remember seeing you around. You should never feel bad about leaving man, especially when life forces you to. We'll always be here to welcome you back with open arms

It's OK that you had to leave due to personal issues, many users go inactive for the same reason. I've had to spend a lot less time on vizzed because of life issues too but every time I come back I still have all my friends here to support me as well as other users. Have fun here again, and hopefully you can be able to come often!

Life issues can arise the least you expect it to happen, so we don't blame you for leaving all of a sudden. Actually, I'm glad to hear you didn't lose interest in this site, which is the main reason why many people leave, sometimes without notice, just to never return.

So nice to hear you're sorting things out for the best. Many things have changed in the months you've been away, so you have a long way ahead to catch up. I hope we can see you around often!

I too was wondering where you went, and I'm glad you're back~ I know we've never really interacted with each other much, but I do recognize you from your posts on the board.

Don't feel bad about leaving due to irl things, after all real life does come first and I've left for a month because of real life becoming awful sometime in February-March, so I guess I somewhat understand why you left. I hope to at least see you around here a little bit from now on ^^.

Thank you guys for the welcome backs! I'm actually glad it was only for as long as it ended up being, and not any longer than these two or so months. Yeah, I can see a lot of the layout and interface has changed/is changing, crazy what two months of absence can do to put you behind, lol. -w-"

I admit that I really, REALLY can't promise that I'll be around often, but I might be able to at least do a couple of things on the site once again. I still have a couple of unposted and close-to-finished reviews in the backburner, so maybe I'll polish those up and start posting regular reviews on this site, at the very least.

I know that I shouldn't actually be sorry for having to leave in favor of real life issues, but I still feel bad for not even having had as much as a chance to state my leave, since it was very fast coming. These past two months have been filled with a plethora of therapy, hardships, and learning of self-acceptance. What's hopeful now, though, is that I can go through life with a greater bout of self-awareness and self-esteem, and actually learn to once in a while take a compliment saying nothing more than "thanks," instead of trying to downplay them as I always have.

But, it's an ongoing process still, so I'm bound to slip up at some points even here, and that's okay. I'm setting up a system for accountability on my end to keep the generalized anxiety and self-image issues from coming back up.

SWTerra : You're welcome! Yeah, the entire site layout changed and recently, same with the profiles. Don't feel bad for not being able to tell us in advance about your inactivity, life happens and it doesn't always give a warning of when it'll get crazy. I agree that it's OK to slip up, it happens to everyone even if people say it doesn't happen to them.

Lol Life is that way sometimes, but at least it sounds as though things are better for you after the hiatus. Hopefully this means we'll see you posting around a bit again.

Eirinn : Lol, I'll be honest, I don't think I'll be coming back to form like I used to on this site; I admit that was rather excessive at the very least, and one of the key things I'm learning to focus on is diversifying (I've gotten back into my story writing, am now actually trying to get somewhere artistically, and am composing, as well as going outside among other things), so it'd be impossible to see me as much as I was once on here. It's for the better ultimately, though, happy for that at least.
