Hi guys its me bringing you another thread. So this can relate to any consoles, but this is mostly towards like ps1 games and ps2 games. What game or games do you regret not playing sooner in your childhood? Like for instance for me zanderlex suggested guardians of crusade which is a ps1 game, and I often at times blame myself for not finding about the game much sooner because of how amazing it is. There are a few others for me, but I forgotten them. I'll end up remembering them if someone posts it. So anyways do you normally get that feeling, and if so do you get to play it when you can?

abhisek : You need to explain more in details as of why. You can't say something of that is not explained properly.

I would agree with you on that. I liked that game as well I managed to play the game. It was really fun. I felt there was so many games that I missed when I was young ps1 wise same with some ps2 games, that I never got to play until now. So it was like really saddening in a way for me and all. But now at least I can play them to my hearts content.

Well, for me, this one can go either-or.Me and my mom were shopping for new games for my new ps2 and found all the Spider-Man movie games for ps2.We could only get one tough, so I chose the first one, assuming I'd come back and get the others sometime later.

Well, I never did.Though I did get Spider-Man three eventually, I never got Spider-Man two.And judging from the glowing praise it seems to get, I sometimes wonder if I made the right choice. Then again, Spider-Man one wasn't half bad and I like playing games that aren't so popular, so it could go either way for me.

Spidey243 : Sorry to hear that I actually got that spiderman game on my ps2. I really enjoyed playing it a lot. So I would often replay the game like a lot because of how fun it was. I never played spiderman 3 how is the gameplay really cool and fun? Is it worth playing? Yeah well spiderman was really like a great game to play, and they were right about it. I hope maybe one day if you can that you get to play the game. Its never too late to get something, that you always wanted to play.

Eniitan : Well, Spider-Man 3 for ps3/Xbox 360 is okay, from what I've hear, I don't have that version yet though. But, as for the ps2 version, it's not good.I like bad games though, so I'll go back and play it from time to time, just for old time's sake, but it  feels and looks like everything in it's made of cheap cardboard.Everything is flat and life-less looking and the physics are just not very precise. So unless you're really curious about it, I wouldn't recommend it.

Spidey243 : Thank you, that's all I needed to know. I'm very picky with games so if I would like to try a new one I ask of someone who has more experience of the game to tell me what its like. They will end up saying if its one of the greatest games to play, or if its a really bad game to play. So this is why I really like to ask friends and people at most times. So then I don't like end up playing a really bad game it would spoil my mood put me off, and leaving me feel very angry and upset. '-'

I'd say it be WWE 12 for the Xbox 360.
Yeah I had WWE 12 for the WII, but that version sucked compared to the xbox 360.  No Downloadable content, no custom paint tool, and no good caws.

The xbox 360 we had broke down because non of the disk would read anymore.

SuperCrash64 : Wow you sure do love playing the Xbox 360 I never liked, that console for many reasons. Sorry to hear that WWE 12 sucked for you on the wii since like some or most wouldn't really be worth playing. Also sorry to hear about your xbox breaking down. Do you plan on getting another real soon or not? @.@

I regret not playing Super Mario Bros. sooner in my childhood. Back when I didn't play it, my sister played some Mario games and I found it boring to watch them.

But 2 years later I tried Super Mario Bros. and instantly became addicted to it. It didn't take long for it to become my favorite game and that's how I got so much into the Mario franchise. I think I'd be even better at Mario games and maybe have played more of them if I began playing them sooner, but oh well.

Pacman+Mariofan : Oh....yeah that's the one thing that is like really popular now isn't it? So those who never got to play it in a way would regret that, since it is like really really out there with people. Its what most people enjoy playing. But its a good thing along the line you got to play it in the end, and that's how you go into Mario games in a way? That's pretty cool you got addicted to it. Does this mean you play the super Mario bros of today? Like the modern games that you play against people on?

Eniitan : I don't know if it's popular today but many of the people I know enjoy playing it, or at least know who Mario is. Yeah, I play a few modern Mario games such as Super Mario 3D World and Super Smash Bros. (which isn't completely a Mario game, but there are many Mario characters in it)

Pacman+Mariofan : Yeah many do enjoy playing it. But I really do say its popular like....people do tournaments for this games and win prizes. Also it can be found when you go to games con or an anime con as well. There are many super smash bros tournaments in most places. Its that big pacman, and really out there with people who love to smash other people. I haven't played any modern super Mario games sadly. So I am behind from you guys in a way...

There was a game for the PS2 called Manhunt (I think?) that I really regret never taking the time to play. From what I remember, the game was all about killing people in the most brutal and creative ways possible. For one reason or another, your character had to do a bunch of snuff films, so the entire place the game is in is filled with cameras. Your job is to use all the items in the environment, such as an ice pick, a plastic bag, or anything else you can find, and use it to kill everyone you come across in the most "entertaining" way possible for the cameras to catch on film.
Most of what I saw from the trailers and previews made it seem like a stealth game, where you would have to sneak up on most of your victims. Definitely not family friendly, and at the time, I believe the game caused quite a bit of controversy due to how graphic and violent in nature it was.

I could list so many that I wish I could have played, and so many that I hear everyone raving about and I wonder what I missed, such as Legend of Dragoon, Chrono Trigger, and lately Dark Cloud and Guardians of Crusade. But the first game that came to mind when I saw this was Menacer. I doubt it's worth anything, but there was a Toejam & Earl minigame on that one and I saw it once and wanted it so badly. However I only had enough for one game and I had been gifted a Gameboy but only had two games for it so I decided to get a third for it. I chose Tetris. lol I really don't like Tetris, but I did get some play out of it for a few days and then put it away for good. Turns out I didn't miss much not grabbing Menacer though, as it apparently was a lightgun game and I didn't have a working lightgun. Still I would like to try it sometime being such a Toejam & Earl fan.

Nice thread by the way. I may come back if I think of any more by name.

Mynamescox44 : That sounds like I game I wouldn't really want to play....but sorry to hear that you never got to play the game as you wanted. Maybe you can try and get it if you have a ps2 on you? Not sure what else I can say on that sadly. '-'

Eirinn : I see there are many games that you listed that you have not played and want too. I'm sure maybe you will somehow find a way to play those games again. Guardian of crusade and legend of dragoon I actually have on my desktop and I will have to say they are a great game to play and you will need to try and get it in any possible way that you can. I'm not sure about the dark cloud and if you have a ps2 on you as for tetris maybe take like one day to play it in the rgr. I'm sure that you will find a way to play these games again its about trying to do that.
