Pa man+Mariofan: If you want to know the secret to sneaking snacks into a theater, wear a frikkin' winter coat, like a thick one, in the middle of summer. You can hide practically anything in there, and if you tell them that you're feeling really, really chilly, then they can't stop you. Plus, it's absolutely hilarious to see they're reactions, and then, once you get into the theater, you have a perfectly good cushion, even if the seats aren't comfortable.

I normally buy those sour airhead things anyways though. I love airheads with a passion, almost as much as I love butterscotch candies. See though, if I went to a restaurant afterwards, I'd be hungry during the movie. In general, I can't go more than three hours without eating, and that means that every school day, food less movie, or long car drive, is agonizingly painful.

I end up watching movies through Netflix or on rare occasion, hulu. 

The reason is because A - I dont thing we would want/ can afford to get a blueray becausse we already have a DVD player with a home speaker system that I'm sure my father doesnt want to take down, as well as it serves a purpose for our TV. B - We also probably couldn't afford buying a movie these days,  atleast not really new ones. C - Has anyone been to the movies lately? Can you believe how much popcorn costs? It's absolutely rediculous to take out a loan just to eat at the movies Which is why you sneak candy in . 

We will, at times, rent a movie when it's a good price on either Vudu or at Redbox however. We don't normally buy movies on Vudu very often.

But this is a conversation as to what you prefer, and I would honestly prefer to watch them on the movie screen. Even with my horrible social skills, I would still love to site back in a comfy chair, eating popcorn all buttered up with whatever they put in that butter flavoring, and watch a movie without any distractions. Where a movie is originally shown.

I prefer watching movies in the DVD way, because I customize my own options, I put my own subtitles, and I can rewind a funny part as much as I want . Plus I can pause the movie if I need to go to the bathroom or something, and that way I won't miss not a single detail from the movie.

Generally, I end up watching everything on my computer or TV (even though I would prefer to watch movies in the theater) because they are more easily accessible. Also most of the movie theaters don't tend to play the films that I would prefer to watch (some are animated), so I end up having to find another way to watch them and oftentimes, I end up using my computer for that. XD

I watch my movies online on my laptop, not on streaming sites (hulu,netflix, etc) or illegal streaming sites. I would buy a movie online and watch, because I could stream offline as well and take screenshots of my favorite characters. But the only con is that I cant watch my movies in full HD (1080p) but my laptop supports 720p playback., so that's good at least.

supercool22 : Good point, I didn't think about that. I like taking screenshots of funny moments and I could do that if I watched movies on the computer.

There really isn't a question that watching a movie in a theater is the best. The big audio, the big screen, everything is pretty much perfect in a theater (except the people and overpriced stuff) 

When I am not in a theater I watch movies on the TV or on a DVD. 

I always get the best seats at my local multiplex. The place also has the best popcorn I've ever had (pretty cheap too), fancy surround sound theatres, and those neat moving chairs. The atmosphere is unbeatable.

A close second, however, would be my home, on my computer. No atmosphere or delicious, buttery popcorn, but it's far more comfortable and affordable.

Barathemos : I don't mind that everything is so expensive at a theater because I barely ever eat anything there XD If I have a snack during a movie it's hard to pay attention to how much I'm eating.

Sometimes I just buy a cookie since they aren't big and I can finish it before the movie even starts. I'm guessing you'd do that too, I know how much you like cookies

IStillSeeTheX : I've never heard of anything being cheap at a movie theater besides the movies themselves XD I like surround sound, I have surround sound speakers at home.

Pacman+Mariofan : lol Yes, just changing channels would be ideal, but my TV and theaters where I am currently don't tend to show movies like The 3 Idiots. I have to search for a while sometimes to find films like that. XD

I'd prefer going to theaters if there were hand-drawn animated features, but unfortunately, there is very little besides computer movies. That's why I watch DVD instead. I do watch a film on a Tablet on occasion, though.
