So I came up with this idea of what pokemon hack games are better than the original. I know there are people on the board who feel that way. What pokemon hack games do you think is better than the original and why. I would love to hear about what your thoughts are based on this. For me would be pokemon rebirth. It added things into that game emerald wouldn't have. Which surprised you and put you in shock for some things as well. That's about it from me. Now what about you?

I don't fully remember the name of it, but it was a hack of Gold, that could have been shiny unless I'm mistaken. I loved this game, it was basically a full version of Gold but it had so many more things for you to do. There were a few more characters that all played big roles in the game. There was more to the story, and I'm pretty sure that this hack even had more stuff than the actual Gold remake, HeartHold. Lets not bypass the fact either that it had some really good graphics and overall it was a lot of fun as well.

zanderlex : Wow that sounds like a cool hack game to try! Was it a completed game though? You know how some most hack games are not in complete. Yeah this sounds really fun to try. So you can't remember the name? Maybe I might run into it without knowing. Thank you for posting in this thread. This excites me more. Its the on thing I love about poke hacks details such as what you said in your post.

I honestly believe Pokemon Ash Grey does. The reason I think so is that it was a great idea to make a game based off the anime. I cant see why anyone wouldn't want to play it. It slightly annoys me that they couldnt think up the idea of making a game based off of their popular cartoon series before fans did. And it's so surprisingly accurate, it makes me wonder how much better it would've been if GameFreak/Nintendo had come up with it first to make its own game instead of limiting the creators resources by hacking it.

EDIT - I would like to also add the fact of how much extra money they would have with making a game off of every season of Pokemon. Or even a game off of every region Ash has been to. For all the people that would rather the regular pokemon games over watching the cartoon. They would already have the look of the characters as well as a story without having to do much thinking, just programming. They could also set it up better as far as story goes while allowing a certain amount of freedom like regular pokemon games to make every game unique.

Pokefreak219 : I can agree to that as well. I remember the first time I played it and when I was like hey....its just as if I am watching the anime...like playing the game how it happened in the anime. I thought whoever came up with that hack was a genius because that idea was brilliant. Sadly I forgot to like finish playing the game and never got back to it. Thanks for reminding me about this game once again. I also see what you are seeing about those few pointers there. If that was to happen it would had been something so far as in even making those section parts even more amazing to run by for. I even imagine if they did it. That may be the results of what would come out from it.
