Well, I used to drink hardly any water at all for the most part. I mean I'd still drink a lot of things like Gatorade, milk, or juice, but never just plain water. That is until I started having urinary track issues due to the lack of water / drinking too much pop (or soda for you yokels ). Basically, from drinking too much pop and not enough water, my system would form mini kidney stones, as passing them is like peeing out razor blades, so yeah, it's not a fun experience. Not only that, it would continue to hurt until I drank enough water to pee clear liquid and flush out the little stones that would still remain in the track from when it happened. It still happens from time to time when I forget to drink enough water / drink way too much Mountain Dew, but hey, I'm only human. For the most part I can keep it in check. (And no, it's not an STD. I made sure to rule that out when I went to the doctor about it )

As things are now, I probably drink an average of 3-5 8 oz glasses of water each day. I know it's not nearly enough, but it keeps me from experiencing excruciating pain in my privates, which is good enough for me lol. That, and I get really bad headaches if I don't drink enough water, especially on the days I spend a lot of time on the computer or playing video games. Considering how our bodies are more water than anything else by far, it'd probably be a good idea to drink more. Another reason I don't drink more water is I absolutely hate the feeling of having to pee, so I do my best to avoid that as best I can (a huge pet peeve of mine is having to hold it when I know I won't be able to go for awhile, regardless of how badly I actually need to get it out). Oh well though. Mountain Dew is just too delicious to not drink XD

And its quite annoying when that happens especially if you are in the middle of doing something important. But hey its good to drink water but not so much to the point that it will make you to go to the loo when you don't want too. And to disturb you from what you are doing and such.

Yea, I hate drinking enough of anything to have to go to the bathroom that much. It doesn't help I have the bladder of a 6 year old either lol. For me, it gets to the point I'm about to burst every 30 minutes if I drink too much of any form of liquid.

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed the coincidence of how the percentage of our bodies water content, and the percentage of the Earth's surface covered in water are extremely similar lol. It's almost like it was planned out that way, be it by nature, God, or whatever else you believe in

I make sure I drink water but make sure not to the point that I have to go to the loo. Its very good for flushing out a lot of things within the body. So that's mainly why I drink water. It really depends for me. If I'm just at home doing nothing that day, I barely drink any water, that is until like 2 hours before I sleep, where I get the sudden urge to drink a lot of water. This usually results in me waking up at some point in the middle of the night to use the restroom. I've tried changing it, but for some reason, no matter what I do, I get really thirsty at night. If I'm active that day, I tend to drink a lot of water, but I don't keep exact measurements. I'd say about a gallon or a gallon and a quarter, if I'm really active that day. I prefer to drink other things than water though, like soda, and any kind of fruit juice.

I usually don't drink too much water. I don't drink anything at all really unless if its meal time. But I'm trying to drink as much water as I can with this up coming season of football and I'm trying to stay healthy and trying to keep my cardio vascular system healthy.

I'd say I drink about a bottle or two's worth of Water Every now and then.


We usually have other types of drinks around the house so I don't drink water everyday,  it's every now and then.  And If there's a bottle of water I'll usually drink about 1 or 2 of them, especially during the summertime.    The weather just encourages you to drink something cold.

Normally, I'll just refill a water bottle with water from my fridge if I need more. But obviously, it will vary depending on what time of year it is. I'll average a little more during the summer and a little less during the winter.

Its a good way too since like it would help you to drink more water and all. During the winter I still drink water, but not too much since it would be too cold for me too in a way. So I try my best to drink as much water as I can, all around year wise.

I drink like 4 or 5 .5 liter bottles of water a day. (so like 2-2.5 liter a day)

It might seem like a lot but I sweat a lot when it gets hot or I am doing very physically demanding chores so I kind of make up for it by drinking a bit more.

And hey, if I drink healthy then I don't have to focus as much on eating healthy

I am very inconsistent about how much I drink. Often times I get through the day barely drinking anything outside breakfast and dinner and even then I mostly drink a glass of milk or juice. Meaning I usually only drink water if that's the only thing we have at home. The only days I actually do choose to drink water is when I'm going to the gym, I'll end up bringing 65cl water bottle and drink at least 1 or 2 of those often more when I get back now that it's warm outside lol.

I have been told I don't drink enough water or just drink enough in general, so I probably should try to increase at least a little bit.

porepp : Its fine not everyone has an easy time drinking water so if you start training up slowly for that. Then you'll do better as you gradually improve in time so don't rush things too much for you. There will be others like you who are not really consistent by drinking water when they should, but will try and improve that.

Then you'll do better as you gradually improve in time so don't rush things too much for you. There will be others like you who are not really consistent by drinking water when they should, but will try and improve that.
