Ok. I'm not having good feelings about this thread during the TDV, honestly. 

A fun fact though- There are technically an infinite amount of forums on vizzed, but they don't have a name and are hidden (You can see this by putting random numbers in forum id's). 

I don't think Leggy is too concerned with TdV rules since he isn't competing and doesn't care.

The problem though is that Leggy has now power in this forum and therefore can't actually claim it for himself.

Those who are competing might just grab a few post count+++ here. I just hope TDV competitors don't abuse this thread.

This is a legitimate thread (though made as likely a bit of a joke) and is free game as are basically all open threads.

I think elimination threads and a few others like those are the only ones that are "banned".

geeogree : It depends. Making a lot of very short, very low quality posts in a thread is an example. (since it doesn't contribute much to the site)

I remember innocent town had a rule that is like "Be funny, not stupid". So another possible example is being stupid rather than funny. But I guess good jokes are another story. (to a degree only if competing in the TDV)

People worry too much about getting in trouble during the TdV. Unless it is obviously that you are spamming all over the place you aren't going to get a DQ. Look at some of the days we've had where people posted 50-100 times and no one batted an eye when actually looking at the posts.

There is always going to be "spam" but it shouldn't be so much of a concern in non-serious threads like this one.

The thing is... I've been treated very very harshly by couple of former Moderators and former site staff (who were backseat modding). That was back when I was a new trusted member. Those former Mods and Staff just kept mocking me so harshly, it hurts. That was when my posts were a bit similar to jokes like this one.

So I must be used to the logic of being very harsh during TDV months now thanks to that. (I probably shouldn't say more about my past here) I guess you guys are more relaxed now...

It's all but logical to come to your conclusion on the fact that this thread should have been closed based on prior knowledge and experience. But hey, sometimes those precedent's change

Such a shame, I liked the electric blue trademark of Vizzed. It won't be the same seeing it purple.

What remains to be answered is if the new color font for the new Owner will be changed to zebra pattern. Time will give us the answer, but for now, I'll focus my efforts into avoiding the spread of chaos within the rabble. Not everybody can't handle certain truths, after all.

The only people who think that this thread would be used for post count +1 in terms of TDV are people who would use the thread for post count +1 in terms of the TDV.

The board doesn't revolve around the TdV and every thread shouldn't be moderated as such.

Speaking of which, if we're claiming this in terms of IT, why can't I use moderator powers in the thread .

See, I have this theory that the TDV is part of the reason the activity has gone down. People are afraid to s*** post, like this.

"What if I get in trouble, oh boo hoo..."

This is just a rhetorical statement. I don't really want someone responding to it, but I think the fact activity started to decrease after a year of TDVs is no mistake. I'm not saying it's solely responsible (that would be foolish) but I do think it's impacted people's desire to just be silly in general, which is what made Vizzed so great to me when I was younger.
