        I am just curious to know why there is not an X Box emulator in the RGR. Are Microsoft products too heavily copyrighted, or is it just something that never crossed your minds? Is the game not old enough to be considered "Retro"? Is it possible that Vizzed will have X Box games in the future?

Main reason it isn't added is because xbox is a disc system. We don't have too many disc system games due to bandwidth it takes to host/serve to users easily. Maybe next time david adds a new system it might be xbox it could be something else entirely. Since I haven't seen a new system in awhile I wouldn't get your hopes up though.

Xbox is not retro, and its games are too massive so as to be affordable. There's also the copyright issues, so it's all a cluster of reasons instead of just one.

And well, to my knowledge, it isn't easy to find an Xbox emulator out there, so if this turns out to be true, it would be one more reason not to add it.

It's not that simple...    Last I researched it, I could only find references to a single Xbox emulator that only played the first Halo game, and very poorly at that. I think we'd sooner have Windows XP virtual machines running pirated PC games, and because of all the legal crap, that's pretty much never going to happen. You're better off figuring out how to get the PC versions of the game.

Nope the tech isn't there and it'd be a right pain to get it to work correctly and easily for everyone on the site.. And that's not even going into the insane server costs... and maintenance...

There's already enough games here...  I'm sure you can find something to satiate your gaming appetite

Tyrian Delirium : Actually, you'd think it wouldn't be that hard because the original Xbox runs on a modified x86 architecture, meaning there would be less to emulate than say something like Gamecube or PlayStation 2. I'm guessing that there just hasn't been enough work put into developing a functional emulator.
