Zlinqx : It's already looking like we'll have more people participating this year. But yeah, last year was pathetic.

There's no longer a TG category but instead just an SNES, PS1 and Mixed category. The reason why I give SNES and PS1 their own category is so that users who have issues with SNES netplay or PS1 netplay can just veto those categories. Doing an entire category for TG means I can't do games for other systems so that's why I did mixed system instead. The mixed system has 1 TG game, 1 NES game and I already have a 3rd game possibly picked out but if that game doesn't work out, then I'll consider Final Match Tennis.


Foxyman1113 : I completely understand your reasoning and I would rather see the best players scattered out among many teams rather than them all bunched together in 1 or 2 teams.

Davideo7 : I really wanted to try to compete in this years event, but I just can't commit to the time it's going to take. Heck, I've hardly been able to play any games over the past few months.

If you really need a backup, I could probably do that, just not sure how much time I'll have to actually commit to playing matches.

DisneyGamer : I'm looking at all options at this point. I'm actually starting to think I might want to try and compete as more than a backup. If Chas doesn't join you guys, then I'll think about it.

Davideo7 : I'm thinking about possibly being someone's partner or I might make my own team. I originally said that I wouldn't be anymore than a backup because I wasn't sure how my netplay would be with Super Nintendo, but after testing Super Bomberman 4 out with Aceshock, I see that it works just fine for me. Anyways, seeing that you're looking for a partner and seeing Jordan's response, would you want me as a partner? The only system listed that doesn't work for me on netplay is PS1. The others listed work fine for me.

Update: I also just tested out NBA Jam for Super Nintendo with Vanelan and it worked just fine. I think it's safe to say that I won't have any Super Nintendo issues.

Davideo7 : Well David, I looked into the game and I had AceShock help me and we were able to do us two in a team vs the CPU! So I figured if that worked, wouldn't it work 2v2? I would've tried with 4 people, but there wasn't anyone on the net play. Here is the link to the game

Jordanv78 : It's really only an hour a week but I understand. I've been shot down by 4 different users now so I'm use to the rejection . Seriously though, I'm fine with that but if you're still interested in that backup slot, just let me know.

lacktheshack13 : A few of us tested out NBA Jam earlier and yeap, we also confirmed it'll work fine. We're also considering NBA Hangtime. It'll for sure be one of those 2 games though.

Snow wants to be backup, and gamer said he would want to be more than just a backup.

There are 2 weeks in July when I'd need snow to be a player but other than that I could play all the time.

Barathemos : sure. I'll go ahead and be your partner in this tourney. If Snow says yes to being the backup, then I'd say this is a pretty solid team. Just remember when you're vetoing a system, that I'm not able to do playstation.
