Eirinn : Sorry to bump posts like this but....I needed to give you the feedback. First of all....I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR VOICE YOUR SO COOL! Ok *clears throat* now that is out of the way with. I saw you building more things in the area with Tinkerbell. I say if its the case to move onto another game if like there is not much really needed to be done for that part.

Eniitan : Lol! Thanks! But I actually don't like my voice much - it's too high pitched. :/
As for the videos: yeah Disney Infinity is mostly about building levels and playing in them. I could upload videos of me fighting enemies in the levels we make, but only if you guys were actually interested in that (let me know). So yeah if you want to move on, go ahead and click the vote option for it and I'll do so when it seems that most of the people agree on it.
I really need to get some more games that are suitable for things like this thread.


Ultrajeff : Sorry for not answering sooner: the magnificent kingdom is technically completed I guess, but I would really like to do more with it because, as you'll see in the videos, I didn't manage to do most of what I wanted because I hit the system limitations as a result of starting it in a premade toy box.

Your voice sounds fine to me. The Kingdom itself is fine especially the walkway and what appears to be a bandstand (I dunno what it is but it looks like a bandstand to me which my town still has) which is the best part of the kingdom in my opinion.

   At 3:37 of the third video you start going texan on us. Your voice changes so much and you get that weird texan accent for a bit. It doesn't really seem like you can do that much with this game though because of memory.

DylanMcKaig : First off let me say that it's insanely awesome that your town has a bandstand. Lol As for this one, I'm assuming you're referring to the one behind the Castle, if so it's called a Gazebo but honestly it does look more like a bandstand since only one side is semi-walled in with pillars.

That's actually 100% Oklahoman there, and I somehow watched this video before posting and missed that, but I went back and watched it again after reading your comment and it really is pretty bad. What happened is that I dislike my southern accent so I fight it. I've fought it for so long that I now do it subconsciously, but every once in a while it still slips out full force as you heard. xD In fact there are a few words that I try to avoid using because I can't fully shake my accent on them, one of such words is "talk". I don't know why. -__-

As for the memory issues, they really do limit the game from being what it could be because once something is created it just stays there. By that I mean there's no optimization so if you make a ton of characters in one spot and go a full map length away, the characters are still active and walking around, talking, etc. whereas in most AAA games they would be disabled until they're within a certain range of you, and the same goes for terrain.

But even so, most of the AI and Terrain memory was filled up in this video by all of the stuff that was already in the toy box when I got there. There's so much going on in those passages under the mountain that I didn't show in that video. They're really expansive and the environment in them is mostly dynamic (water, lava, etc. all moving and such) so it took up a lot of the AI and terrain before we got started. An empty toy box is the way to go if you want to make something big, but even then it would be better if it could handle more. The game shines in it's ability to use creativitoys and logic connections to make full fledged games complete with special effects, I just wish they would have focused on that part a little more heavily.



If anyone has any suggestions for the next project, let me know. If no one suggests anything I'll just scrap some of the stuff in this scene to free up more room for us to expand on the current kingdom.

Eirinn : This game is really like usual to me. I've never played it. Always wanted too, but never got that chance. Maybe like....one day I can get to do that. I really liked the lava looking levels, and what other places that you explored as well. Disney infinity is a unique game with a rather different gameplays from other games I have ever seen. What other things can you do in the game? And also could you like describe the other Disney characters and their gameplay? Its just that it really has me thinking. And I wasn't sure if I was to get this game in the future. Like what I can do gameplay wise. It looks really fun to play as I can see, but would you be able to explain to me the point of each characters gameplay in a way? Sorry for the many questions, seeing this video made me to want to ask so many things. XD

Take your time, buddy. Mind the limitations and think substantially. Your limit is your own imagination. Think about what would seem best and how you will do it.
