I wouldn't mind the job. I think I'd be OK at it, but it's also kinduh like a personal challenge. I want to see if I'd fail or or not at it. I'd also be doing something semi-productive with my spare time and not feel like I was wasting my life...

There are a lot of issues I have with being a local, predominantly that I can't actually accomplish anything with so little power. I loathe busy work like moving threads and janitorial work (anyone can do it; that's why we've had 12 year old mods at one point).I like being a global, because while there's some janitorial work, you are more involved in the formation of site politics and have more say with regards to how the staff approaches a situation. I prefer the management side of things when it comes to this site.

In addition, it's just boring, there's not really one fun thing about being a local all it's not worth the work. Being a global on the other hand? Now that is worth it.

Like leggy said, being a local is not as fun some of the members seem to think it is. Its a lot of work and requires a certain kind of person to do it.

A global on the other hand... keys to the executive lounge, exclusive parties, the good coffee... perhaps I said too much....
