You're maybe like me, since I'm mid-30s, in that a majority of conversations have very little to do with our experiences and are outside our frame of reference. I missed the Pokémon thing by a few years and I go elsewhere to talk about the grown-up stuff. Every now and then there's an interesting post but I don't usually chime in the to regular things.

Aside from seeking the advice of those far more experienced than I, age never really mattered to me. I tend to have more meaningful conversations with people either younger or older than me. The only real difference is that you are now where I will be. It's not really much of a factor in most things.
