I broke my claim in the creative world?

Well, I honestly don't know what went wrong, but I was in the creative world, and my claim, just broke? Now all that happens is that I can only claim a portion of my claim, and the other part is mine, but I cant build on it, and when I use the stick, it says I own both claims. I tried abandoning all claims, but both of them stay, what went wrong?
Edit: also, when i try abandoning an individual claim, it says an internal error occurred.
