What was the most expensive seat that you have ever had at a sporting event? Whether you paid for it or went for free.

The most that I ever spent on a ticket was last April for a baseball game, it was special field level seats, came with an all you can eat restaurant buffer, and cost me about $130. The most expensive seat I ever had though of all was upper level tickets to the Home Run Derby in 2013, they were free for me because I won a contest but cost about $260.

What's the most you ever paid or had someone else pay for a sporting ticket?

At one point me and my family (parents, sisters, aunt n uncle, grandparents, and a few others) all pitched in and rented a private booth for a Red's game once. I don't remember how much it was, but I know it wasn't cheap. It was one of those booths that is indoors with all glass windows, really comfortable seats, it had a food bar in there and someone to serve beer or pop. It was pretty over the top. I don't remember it that well because I was high out of my mind on pain pills when we went, but it was still fun to do. That was by far the most expensive game any of us had ever been to.

I'm not quite sure about it, due to the many discounts in certain events I attend, but to make a safe bet I'll go for the one that has no discounts: the upcoming two sessions for the World Snooker Championship in Sheffield, UK.

Doing the conversion between currencies is a bit hard to do, but you should get a glimpse of its price when the tickets for the final round next weekend would have costed us more than the flight.

If Premium Memberships to a racetrack also count in here, then my membership in Montmeló is surely on the top list as well. It does give me several benefits, though, like attending all of the events it hosts for free and a few bonuses awarded only to Premium members, and if we add the fact it allows for a big discount when you buy tickets for somebody else to accompany you, it surely is worth the price. I think this is the third year straight I've renovated the membership, because it keeps hosting more and more varied events every year, and it's really fun to discover new things.

I went to the Michigan-Texas Rose Bowl in 2006 in Pasadena.  Those tickets were around $200 or so and we were way up in the bowl.  There's no bad seat in the Rose Bowl as a stadium and the views are incredible.  And Vince Young did his thing and ran up, down, around, over, and through the Michigan defense.  And Braylon Edwards dropped that pass early in the game that might have been a game-changer down the road.

It wasn't as dramatic or as star-studded as the USC-Texas National Championship the year before but we enjoyed ourselves immensely.  That was a good time.

The most expensive sporting event I've attended was a Cincinnati Reds game back when I was in the 2nd grade. I have no idea how much it costed, but I know it wasn't cheap, that's for sure. I haven't attended any other sporting events unfortunately, so that's the only response I could give.

Ghostbear1111 : NICE. That seems like a pretty good deal actually, most resellers are already pre selling tickets for the 2017 Rose Bowl, and most of the tickets start well above $400 with the cheapest one being like $380, so getting in for $200 seems like a steal to me, not to mention because it's such a big event, I feel tickets would sell quickly so getting the ticket at all was lucky.

Wrestlemania tickets are the most expensive things ever. We are going to the one in Orlando next year, and our tickets were $1000 a piece for 2 tickets. They are close to front row, and I really am looking forward to it.

My dad had gotten free ticket to a Royals game from someone so I went with him, my mother, and my sister. I'm not a really big sports fan, but I had never been to a professional game before. We sat somewhere in the middle of the stadium, and it was pretty fun. I wouldn't pay for a ticket though, as they can be kind of expensive.

They did give us free Royals shirts that I still wear, the only problem is, when I wear them, strangers sometimes want to talk about the Royals, even though I don't follow sports, they assume I'm a fan just because I wear the shirt. (I can't blame them) XD

Really? Again? : Lol you must really like the shirt. Royals stuff happens to be the most worn clothing in my city outside of our own teams, we apparently have a lot of fans here, but I'm not sure there will be much more here after what happened last year. I like a lot of their guys and I'd kill to go to one of their games.

The 2010 Scottish cup final when my team (Dundee United the team in tangerine/orange) won the trophy. I hvae no clue how much it was but it was probably the most expensive game I have been to (most matches are around £10-£20 here).

I don't go to sporting events that often. The Talladega race I went to was like $45, but that's not horrendously expensive.
