It started when I watched the show with my cousins and they gave me some of their extra cards... pretty soon I was enjoying the games as well (I gave up on the show after Johto, and pretty much gave up on the cards as well.)

well lets see, when i was a kid and pokemon came out, it was HUGE. it made the news several times and kids at school couldnt stop talking about it. i used to watch it all the time and i loved it. the cards were pretty popular too so yea i was real big pokemon fan. back then though pokemon was more of a trend to me and it wasnt until i owned my very first pokemon game that i REALLY got into it and still play to this day xd. so yea i was into pokemon when it was a trend but the games are what REALLY got me into it

the show got me into pokemon the first time i saw it as a kid i was like woah this show is awesome!lol i watched it everyday i even recorded it so i can watch it all the time lol and then i got my first game pokemon blue i played that all the time i would stay up all night playing it that might not be good for a 10-11 yr old but i didnt car lol i was having to much fun to go to bed lmao then finally i got some cards and collected them for a couple yrs then i gave all 300 and something to my lil bro
