I've been almost nothing but in an angry mood for the past week because of the situation with me and my dad, among other things, which you can read about here - https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=93794

I've been taking out this anger on other people at school, more today than other, and I didn't fully realize how much this could change things for me if I keep this up. I need to find a new way to either let out my anger or keep it stored in while I'm at school.

Any help or advice would be appreciated, thank you.

LunarDarkness2 : Hey man, it's tough to manage anger, especially when life is going really bad. I have a few ideas on how to release your anger. I don't know if any of these ideas will work, but it's worth a shot. You need to get exercise, play a sport, or spend more time outdoors. I know the pollen and all sucks, but I think it's a good way to let anger and stress out. Another way to release your anger is by venting or ranting to one of your friends, whether that be in real life or online. I find that very helpful for me. Another way to release anger is to lift weights. Not only will you channel your rage in a productive way, but you'll get the babes as well . 

I do a few things when I just want to manage my anger. I take deep breaths, lots of them. Also, you can try thinking about some calming thing that is personal to you. You can even think about something funny to get your mind off of whatever is making you mad. The last idea I have is one that is very cliche and kind of weird, but it may work. Get a stress ball, or something like that, and keep it with you at all times. When you feel mad, channel all of your anger into your hands and squeeze the ball, or whatever your are using.

I would have smashed his face in for that. I am a very angry person,everyone can attest to that,that knows me. I would say look for a gym with a boxing area and pound the heavy bag. Most places will have gloves you can use,I rather use my own. But if you do that and the gym has a trainer that knows the punching bags,ask them how to go about it,you can injure yourself pounding on the bag. We do not want you to have to admitted to the ER and that will lead to more questions. Which leads to more anger. I wish I could be more helpful.

The best way to take care of anger is to talk to people dude, if you don't talk to anybody, then you wont get any advice, but if you are angry about whatever, and you talk to somebody about it, then it opens up so many possibilities for ways to take care of the situation.


So basically my advice is to talk about it to as many people as you can because that will lead to even more advice.

The best way to handle anger is with anger itself so I recommend some of the basics like punching a pillow however don't count to ten it is just the wrong way to approach anger because you will only hurt yourself. Occasionally taking some time to reflect will also suppress anger like watching the stars or drawing clouds.
