I rate this a 8/10. I love how it almost always goes first and it's a pretty decent move as well. I like using it if it's a very close battle and I desperately need a hit on the other team.

I like Thunder for the most part. It has a great deal of offensive power, and Electric is a decent typing. Sadly, the accuracy takes away a great deal from this move. Only being at 70% ( excluding rain fall or other weather effects that boost Thunder to 100% ), the move is likely to miss a great deal, nearly 1 out of 3 times even.

I'd have to give Thunder a 5.5 / 10.

Next move up for rating will be...

Of all the moves you could've chosen, you picked helping hand....it's so lame XD

Helping hand is really only useful in double battles when you need to boost the power of an ally's attack. Outside of double battles however, it really isn't useful at all...except maybe in super contests. Altogether, I rate helping hand a 3/10 because it does serve a very small purpose in double battles, but it isn't useful anywhere else in the game.

Oh hell yeah! 10/10!

I use Dark Pulse and other moves a lot when I get things like a Gengar or a Houndoom, and its really good. I wish there were more dark moves honestly.

Shadow Ball is one of the best Ghost type moves I've seen so far. It's 80 Power makes it one of the strongest Ghost type attacks that can be used consistently and effectively. Wow, lots of good moves being suggested.

Ice Beam is another one of my favorites because it has a solid 90 power along with 100% accuracy. If that isn't already strong and reliable, it also has 10 PP (although it can be maxed out at 16) and boasts a 10% chance of freezing the target which may not be much, but it could really come in handy when it does proc.

While it can be the difference between a one shot and a two shot, being completely helpless the next turn and allowing your opponent to set up / revenge kill isn't worth it in my opinion.

I actually really like Giga Drain. It's fun to watch as your opponent struggles helplessly against the endless cycle of draining and not being able to do real damage without switching pokemon. I give it 8 drains out of 10.

the move splash is a load of trash,

Air Slash is the go-to flying type attack for special attacking flying types. Good power and because a lot of flying types are fast, that 30% flinch chance often helps you out.

Only downside is the slightly lower accuracy, so you'll miss it every once in a while.
