Hi guys, this is RDay. I've been easily irritable over the last few weeks on Vizzed, and I just wanted to let you guys know what's been going on in my life lately. (I'm not justifying getting mad in chat 2 days ago.)

Well, it started around 5 weeks ago. I've been getting these stupid bites from bedbugs (what we thought at the moment). We eliminated that possibility and maybe thought it was head lice. We went to the doctor to get it checked out, and apparently it's related to allergies. My face has been swollen up pretty bad for a month or so now (even with the meds) and my eyes are constantly red and itchy. It gets better every so often, then gets back to swelling up. It's caused me to get made fun of by other people. I can't wait for this pollen to get the heck out, so I can get rid of these horrible allergies. I know this sounded stupid, but it only gets worse.

Maybe a week or 2 after that, I had to take a test for Computer Science online at home. Our power went out about 2/3 of the way through, and I couldn't finish the test. I ended up getting a 56 on it and it brought my grade down to a B. The teacher said she couldn't fix it or let me retake it, and my parents got really mad. On top of this, my parents were considering moving homes, far away from the one I currently live in. I vocally opposed this and got too carried away... My parents got mad at both of this and grounded me by locking me out of the house and making me stay in the backyard for 6 or 7 hours. Originally, I was supposed to stay there for 2 or 3 days, but a phone call from my dad let me back in. He said we aren't moving (at least for the time being), and was very sorry about locking me out. He came home in like 2 or 3 hours and let me in. In those 6 hours, I was seriously contemplating suicide. Getting made fun of since my face swells up every now and then, my grades, being in love with a girl I haven't seen in 2 years, and the idea of a move, made me really sad. A few members on Vizzed, whom I'm proud to call my friends talked to me and one of them especially convinced me to stay not only on Vizzed, but in life as well. 

It was going decent for a week after that or so, but yet another thing happened. I was being accused of stealing a bag from the neighborhood clubhouse. I was prohibited from going into the clubhouse, the tennis court, basketball court, swimming pool, and all of the neighborhood facilities. Not only that, but was ridiculed by a lot of people in my neighborhood. They later found out that someone else had stolen the bag and had just framed me. 

Easter was alright, but recently it's gotten worse again. Issues with some Vizzed members, and more bad grades have made it even worse. I had to work even harder in Computer Science and do 3 extra credit projects to bring my grade back up to an A. It took me 3 weeks to get it back to an A. I have somehow managed to get all of my grades up to an A, albeit at the loss of a lot of sleep. 

I don't know if anyone noticed, but March was my best month in terms of production on Vizzed. I turned to Vizzed to get my mind off the bad things that were happening to me, and my friends have helped me for the most part.

I'm again sorry for going off in chat the other day. 

I know I sound like a whiny little crybaby, and I probably am one, but I just wanted to let you guys know what's been going on lately. Thanks for helping me through the bad times, and I hope things will get better soon!

I know it doesn't sound like a lot, but it's because I left out other personal things that have happened. 

RDay13 : I'm sorry to hear all this has been happening to you. Speaking as a friend, if you ever feeling down and feel like talking to someone, then please feel free to give me a call. I may not be able to offer much, but I would like to at least be able to comfort my buds when their experiencing difficulties just like how they did for me. I remember that time when I made a leaving thread, and you were one of the only people who checked up on me to see how I was doing. But If it's too personal, or you just don't really want to talk about it, I'll understand. Just know I'll always be readly to offer a helping hand in your time of need.

Man...That's awful.  I'm really sorry that you have to go through that. And honestly, you've composed yourself better than I probably would have. You're strong to have gone through that, and it's great to call you a friend. Thanks for staying with us. Both online, and staying in real life too. You know you can always come to me with your problems. But I am certain that others here are more than happy to help you up when you're feeling down.

I'll keep you in my prayers.

That sounds rough, but take a minute or two every day and pat yourself on the back. That sounds cheesy (shhhh) but you're doing what you need to do to keep straight A's. Heck, it's hard, but sometimes life isn't fair. However, what you'll remember from all of this later on is how you pushed yourself to do what you need to do to get the results you want.

Your parents locking you out of the house wasn't right, but even parents aren't perfect and make mistakes. You can't change how they act, but you can change how you act. One of my biggest downfalls is not knowing when to walk away from an argument because I want to have the last word and be right. I'm working on this lol.

As for people making fun of you - some people are immature. I'm guessing this is people your own age. I've noticed from personal experience, that people who bring others down aren't happy with themselves.  Spiritually happy people don't feel the need to degrade other people, they help raise them up. Not saying this is right, but one thing I have learned is not to expect healthy behaviour from unhealthy people.

RDay13 : Geez man that's really horrible, you don't deserve any of what happened and also those people who make fun of you are not nice people. If you want we can talk anytime alright, you know how to talk to me RDay.

Don't ever feel like you need to apologize for your problems. The things that are tough for you may seem easy to others but the same is likely in reverse for you. The things you see people struggling with could very likely look like easy problems to you. Everyone is different so the problems we think are tough will vary.

And don't let other peoples opinions of you get you down. They are usually forming an opinion about you based on an extremely short window into your life. Even at their best people can only infer so much about you based on that and it is going to be inaccurate.

Also, Vizzed is always here for you. I've come to Vizzed when things were tough in my own life and gotten to talk to people and it helped a lot. Sometimes just being here helps and sometimes having people to vent to helps. Keep coming back and we will keep helping out.

I'm really sorry to hear that, but I'm glad you're still here with us. And yeah, the Vizzed community is that great. I know I say it all the time, but I can't describe in words how much this community supports others. If you ever need help with anything at all, or are having problems, you can talk to me. I'll try my best to help, and everyone here on Vizzed will help, too.

By the way, quick question. When I saw you on camera several days ago, you looked completely fine. Why is this?

A user of this : Thanks for making me feel better user! You always listened to what I said and seemed genuinely concerned with my problems. I'm pretty sure you would have handled the situation better though. You're a much better person than I am. 

plasticinsanity : Lol, that is pretty cheesy. It's weird because I have never been made fun of this much before. I've been pretty fortunate to be not bullied in school or in other activities. I wouldn't consider what's been happening to me bullying as it's not the same person repeatedly hurting me, rather different people on only one or two occasions. 

18mlivingston : Thanks Max. It could always be worse though. 

geeogree : Yeah, I get that, but other on Vizzed are enduring things much more difficult than I am, so I don't want to seem like a whining little baby (even though I might be one). You're second point is so true. Only my family and closest friends can formulate accurate judgments about me. Yeah, Vizzed has helped me a lot, and is my safe place in a messed up world. 

LunarDarkness2 : Yeah, the community is great. Most of the people here are very nice. To answer your question, I think I mentioned somewhere in my original post that it is off and on. It's fine for a few days, then comes back for a few days. I wouldn't have come on camera had I been looking like Mrs.Puff, lol. I showed user a picture of me with just my forehead swollen, but he couldn't see it well with the glare.

RDay13 : it has been my safe place too. I come here to get away from real life occasionally. Doesn't mean I'm unhappy with my life only that I sometimes need a break to not think about or deal with things for a while. It's been really nice to have Vizzed for that. I'm glad other people find it to be that as well.

RDay13 : I hope you will be fine later on. These things happened, and maybe i was reading that with the wrong image, but we shouldn't focus ourselves on the past, because it happened. We should focus on the future, which we can change. I'm sure that if we can support you as much as we can, you'll be alright with changing the future into a good one. Also, i saw you typing "I know I sound like a whiny little crybaby, and I probably am one" which really hit me. You aren't a crybaby at all. I think you're strong enough to fight this trouble. You're strong enough to tell us the things that happened. Also, one more thing, i will be at your side, and no matter what happens, if there's a person who wants to make it worse, i'll support you. Thanks again guys! My allergies are doing better now, and is almost completely normal. The neighborhood and I are on decent terms again. My grades are a little better now, and my relationship with my parents is slightly better, still not back to normal though. Thank you all for your concerns, my life is getting better, albeit little by little.

Well, it's back to the bad times. Allergies are gone mostly, but the last few days have been terrible. I again had suicidal thoughts (after a month) and probably would be dead if not for yosh, user, Max, and mrfe helping me last night. I feel a little better now, but still bad times. 

RDay13 : I'm reminded of a saying, "This too shall pass". 

Life can seriously suck sometimes, and one thing I've learned is that everybody has problems. But what's important is learning tools to help get through the bad times. You're using one of them now - reaching out. Someone once told me, "pain shared is pain lessened". I try to keep this in mind because I often like to be the 'tough guy', lol. You can do this Rday.
