My favorite crossover video game is pretty much all three of the games in the marvel vs capcom series. I remember when it first came out. Words cannot express the hype I felt.

I recall playing all day long with ryu and wolverine. I'm kinda bummed that the thrid game is longer available on the psn market. It doesn't seem to be in gamestop, either.

I think for me my favorite crossover game would have to be Spyro Orange: The Cortex Conspiracy. This is mostly due to the fact that this is the only crossover game I have played.

Liar, what about Smash! Although that is a good game. I played that all the time as a kid.
But yeah, Smash Bros. will always be my favorite crossover series unless someone releases a genius idea that really gets me hooked.

Yea, I'm with Lunar here. Super Smash Bros. is by far my favorite crossover. I always played as Link due to my love for the Zelda franchise. And Samus was my back up character because I was a beast with her arm cannon. I also loved the fact each of these characters had a ranged grapple technique. But of course the Hero of Hyrule was a much better character overall.
I will cherish the memories of throwing boomerangs and bombs at people from across the map (and when they would try to save themselves from falling lol), and then smacking them around with a sword when they got close

My favorite crossover video game is is Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe and is my favorite fighting game. A close second would be Super Smash Bros. Melee for the Nintendo Gamecube if Roy wasn't so great in the game.

I must admit the Smash Bros. series are a very good crossover, but my favorite must go to Capcom vs SNK 2. It was the first crossover I actually owned, and it dug into my heart. Due to the addition of Dreamcast into Vizzed, I've been able to relive those memories, and I still treasure that game over any Street Fighter, King of Fighters or any other game series they took characters from.

If Dead or Alive 5 wasn't that extremely focused into button mash it could have easily made a close second place behind CVS2. I liked the different fighting styles, the stage animations, the charged moves, the tag throws... But button mashing all the way isn't fun, and complicated combos requiring like three full circles in specific timing don't make it attractive either.
