What are your favourite games from your childhood, and your favourite multiplayer games of this generation? A few of my favourites include:
1. Gauntlet
2. Bionic Commando REARMED
3. Street Fighter II
4. TMNT Turtles in time
5. Contra (All games)

Those are just a few of my favourites to play, esspecially in RGRs netplay. What are your favourites?

The best aspect of multiplayer games is none other then having a chance to either compete against each other or team up together to accomplish something as a team. 
Some of my favorite multiplayer games are:

The latest Gauntlet game is excellent as are all the other ones.

Like someone before me mentioned, the best aspect of multiplayer is the chance to compete and see how you stack up to others (or just sticking it to someone for bragging rights). Or playing co-op for the fun of teaming up to accomplish your objective / stick it to "The Man."
