Haven't had a chance to introduce myself yet. I'm not a "newbie" anymore, but I'm still quite new haha so it's not too late!

I'm Toothie, an 18 year old digital artist and gamer living in London. I'm not online 24/7 since I have both work and uni, but I do try being as active as possible! I just hope I wont be a nuisance around the board.
You can address me in English, Russian, Spanish or/and Japanese (Though I'm completely fluent with English and Russia, along with still learning Japanese and Spanish. Learned at least 75-80% of those two languages)

Overall, I'm easy to approach - I don't bite. So don't hesitate to message me if there's anything you want to tell me or speak to me about.  

The main games I stick to/fandoms I'm in are Pokemon and the Tales series. I also like other games like Star Ocean, Phoenix Wright, Atelier series, etc.
Other than drawing and playing, I tend to watch some anime from time to time when I have time. Some of my favourite anime are: Durarara - Fate/Zero - Fate/Stay Night UBW - Aldnoah Zero - Wolfs Rain - Shokugeki no Soma

Welcome on Vizzed Toothie! It's somewhat hard to determine who can or can not make a post in this forum, but since you only have made a few posts and have been here for a week, I guess it's alright. 

It looks like you're very active outside Vizzed on the internet as well, what brought you to Vizzed in that case? And I'm impressed at your language skills, I can speak Dutch and English, and I'm learning German and French (and Latin but that's just reading) but it's hard to compare Japanese, Spanish and Russian to one another, since they're very different. 

I too like Ace Attorney! Are you excited about Ace Attorney 6 coming to the 3DS in Europe as well? 

I think you're already finding your way around here, but if you ever get stuck, don't hesitate to ask questions! The only stupid question is a question that isn't asked. One last question, did you draw your profile picture yourself? It's quite neat

I stumbled upon Vizzed while searching on Google for a game I wanted to play, and Vizzed was one of the links that came up. Seemed interesting so I clicked it to check it out, and I'm glad I did
And haha yeah. I was born in England. My parents are from Russia, so I learned Russian since it's the language we speak at home. And learned English from reading books (when I was very young), and then learned more when I started going to school, etc. I've actually had a funny problem (when I was around 5/6 years old) where I didn't speak at all because I was confused with the two languages around me. Since it was English in public, and Russian at home, I didn't know what to speak, so I didn't speak at all for  a good 6 months. But it's all good now. I figured what was going on a few months after and it was fine. 
I know bits of Japanese as I studied in Japan for 2 years, and bits of Spanish because it was the language I was learning at school.
But now my parents are convincing me to learn German as they lived there before I was born, but I'll pass lol

You bet I'm excited I actually haven't played a single Ace Attorney game for a couple of years now sadly, so I can't wait to pick this one up when it's released.

Well, you're on the right place here, there are many games to play and the community is very nice. 

My parents are both Dutch so naturally they used that language at home, I learned my English mostly from games and tv-shows, I remember that things like 'game over' and 'play again' were some of the first things I understood. When I was in primary school, I was kinda bored since most of the books focused on stuff like language and arithmetics, so my teacher said I should start learning Spanish. Unfortunately, he put me with a girl who I thought was kinda weird (but we're still in the same class now at high school ) and the book was very confusing, there wasn't a list with a few words but just many exercises where they suddenly put new words in. Did you like learning Spanish?

I'm learning German at the moment since it was one of the few languages that my school teaches, but if the school had more options I would like to learn Italian, my mom is the only who speaks it in our family, even though we have relatives in Italy. Since Dutch and German are pretty similar it's not so hard to learn for me, although the grammar is a bit more confusing than French grammar I think. What did you study in Japan? I only know a few words Japanese from anime and games. 

I'm really excited as well, it looks more Asian than ever so I can't wait to see what the localization team will make of it, just like how Nine Tails Vale in Dual Destinies is a village with Japanese immigrants.

I've seen you a lot on the boards as a 'Poster'. Nice to meet you! I'm MrBeingcool, i live in the Netherlands and i'm 16 years old. I'm a gamer myself too! I draw a lot, but not on DeviantArt.

Anyway, my questions:

First of all, every new person i talk to gets a friend request from me, so i can contact more easily with them, and they can contact me if they need help. Eh... Not that i know everything, but i'll give all i have to help you. So, mind if i send you a friend request?

Second, i saw that you have 'work'? What kind of work? (Okay, that sounds dumb, but it's a question. )

My brother is in a fairly similar sitiation as you with 'learning' English haha. He lives in Russia and doesn't know English, but he plays a lot of games and learned a few words from "Game Over" "Level" "Play Again" etc :p
Spanish wasn't all too bad. It's rather easy, but that's because there's a few words that are similar to English. I'm glad I learned it though, since me and my parents travel a lot to Spanish speaking countries, it's easy for me to communicate with the locals.
I tried learning German, but I found it way too hard for me. Pronouncing the words especially, and remembering how to write them, etc. I know a few phrases from my friends and mum.
No big reason to why I studied in Japan. I was actually staying over there with a friend of mine (she lives there), and decided to take that opportunity to gain some more knowledge on the language and culture overall. And it was worth it!

Anyway, welcome to Vizzed. You live in London, England? I've heard some good stories of there. I am considering touring foreign countries when I get done with school and everything. Is there anything interesting I should know before I go there? I will likely travel to capitals of the countries and maybe a few more places, if I am interested, so do you know of other places I should visit?

Only eighteen and you've already learned so many languages? You don't cease to amaze, do you? Might be because I've never put effort into learning any new languages yet, but it still seems extraordinary.

I've heard of those Anime's, but never looked into them... Perhaps I will soon.

Yeah I got quite hooked onto this forum/board Compared to many others, I have hardly any posts. But that's not really what I care about :b I just enjoy posting here!

And London is awesome! But just a heads up for when you come here. It's best to stay away from East London since it can be a bit dangerous there, especially for tourists. I live in the West, and it's great there. North and West are the best areas, South is also decent, but nothing to do in East.
Other than that, there's a ton of places to visit, I can't even begin to list them all. Big Ben, London Eye, River Thames, Portabelo and Camden market (will be going there tomorrow), Natural History Museum, Tower of London, Harrods, Buckingham Palace, Leicester Square, etc. If you like Sherlock Holmes, you should also totally go to 221b Baker Street... but you get my point :b There's a lot to do here

But overall, thank you for such kind words! I love learning new languages, but don't ask why. It's probably that awesome feeling of accomplishment you have at the end.

Do you have relatives living in Spain? Or do you go there during vacations?
I understand pronouncing the words can be difficult, it really depends on your native language and the sounds you use when speaking that language, and English and German are not that comparable. And pronounciation is very important, or people might get the wrong idea of course. 
Sounds cool! Is your friend Japanese or did he/she move there? Studying in foreign countries sounds really awesome if you can speak the language and/or you know people who live there.

I really don't know any of the games you've mentioned other than Pokemon lol. I don't venture too far outside of the Mario realm.
