Davideo7 :  If it only affects games I've already played, will I never be able to play any game I haven't played before but would want now since Nintendo erased it?

I love the idea, since a lot of my favorite games are copyrighted by Nintendo and make it hard for me to play the game even when I own the game or plan to buy it in the future. Games like legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time and Legend of Zelda Majora's mask are some of my favorites to play that I can't play on my computer because of the issue. I own those games, and playing on the N64 is quite satisfying, but the Television isn't always available, and I don't like people watching me play all the time.

The thing is I've always had a hard time getting Safe rom's on my computer, and there is so many places to receive them... any tips that could help me get a safe virus/malware free rom onto my computer so I can play it on Vizzed?

I've started to use this feature instead of the other way to play the game, and I like this better.

All of the options of emlators and the systems, I like how easy it is to you.

I haven't been on Vizzed in a month or two, so the recent development is pretty disappointing to find out about.

I'm trying to use the self-loading feature but it doesn't seem to work. I tried a rom that works fine on my offline emulator (filepath H:EmulationNESRomsSuper_Mario_Bros_(U).nes) but on Vizzed it won't work. In Chrome it stays at "Starting Rom Download: 0%" and in Firefox the Vizzed plugin crashes which in turn causes Firefox itself to crash. I am using Vizzed plugin v2.41 which I believe is the latest version.

Any help with this?

Edit: I also tried one from the Vizzed folder, in this case "C:ProgramDataVizzedVizzedRgrPluginRomsF-ZERO (U) [!].smc" but still no dice.

no a bad idea. until Nintendo decides to unmoved this will be how we start it. though now I'm having trouble loading it. like IT TAKES A DAMN LONG TIME TO LOAD! LIKE FOREVER! GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! And none of this would happen if Nintendo DID'T f***ING REMOVED ALL ROMS.

Something I just noticed yesterday. When picking an emulator, if by any chance you happen to misclick, there's no way of un-picking your choice, meaning you have to close the window and try again everything from the start. Something worth of noting, specially since the emulators aren't aligned.

Another thing I've noticed, you mention there's a list with your recently played games so you don't have to search for them again. I don't find this list anywhere, any help on where it's shown? It would be a very helpful feature, because it's a pain to search for the plugin folder almost every time just to play a game I last played less than 24 hours ago.

I still have to test the feature with an external ROM, but I honestly doubt I'll use that feature since I wasn't greatly affected by this mass removal. Have you thought about the idea of including other emulators, probably giving access to systems not available in the RGR? It's the only way I would really load an external ROM.

Davideo7 : Hey Davideo7, first let me say it's honor to meet the man who made this historic site. I've always admired this place ever since I first learned about it's existence. I absolutely fell in love with this place and what it had to offer. However with the recent issue with Nintendo that caused you to remove nearly every good game I find myself in a problem.

I've heard about how we can now download the games so we can keep playing them and I've tried but I just can't seem to get it right.

I've gone to the download page, picked an Available System to Emulate, a URL and one of the optional Emulators but when the game screen is opening it either stays at zero percent or just says that the file was corrupt.

I've been trying everything I can to download Pokémon Dark Raising 1 or 2 but nothings worked.

Can you please tell me what I need to do to download it, step by step so that I can finally re experience the joy of your great site???

Hey guys, I'm just wondering how I can center the game so that I can see everything. Playing through my first Fire Emblem game again and I can't see some of the text. The only way I can read is by progressing through the text, but I don't want to miss anything. So if you have any suggestions on how to fix that please let me know and thank you for helping.



Update : Never mind I figured it out, it was just zoomed in a bit too much because of the nice track pad I have. Sorry to be a bother.

what is the password on the zip of the rom files and i can not find the vizzed download folder in program files 

 I really need some help here I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I've got the downloaded zip files where they're supposed to be and when I start up the load your games everything looks to be working fine. Until it just sits at a black screen and stays there, now I don't know where it is I'm going wrong but it says the emulator has loaded even though I hear and see nothing at all.

Currently having the same issue as the user above me.

I made sure to check all the right boxes before launching the game but I just get a black screen after the emulator is done loading.
The system worked for me before so I don't know why I'm suddenly having issues.

I'm not getting the problem that a lot of you are having. In order for me to troubleshoot this better, I'll need to find a way to recreate the issue. Could you guys copy and paste the URL bar of the play window for the games that aren't working for you? Also tell me what browser and operating system you're using.

theweapon2 : That location is a location that should already exist on your computer.

Halolimnic : You can find the removed games from other sites on the internet.

Zurenriri : The file has to be in the downloads folder and it needs to be in a zip archive.

EX Palen : The radio button issue has been fixed. The list was removed for the time being since it was causing issues with the play window.

Davideo7 : I just tried a well known game in Pokemon Ruby and still got the same result.

I'm using Google Chrome for this post but I've tried it with other browsers including IE, Microsoft Edge, Firefox and Torch.
I have the latest version of the plugin installed and I'm not getting an error message so that can't be the issue either.

Furret : That URL actually works just fine for me. Click the Log button on that window and paste to me what it says.

Furret : Do you make sure to click into the screen so that it's activated? Do other GBA games work? Does it work in Mednafen? What other systems or emulators don't work for you?

Davideo7 : A few users have been having the problem of the screen going black and sound playing. They have contacted the RGR staff, but we also have this problem (I know I have it as well) so maybe its a sitewide problem but I have no idea. 

Barathemos : The problem only exists with the Load Your Games page, right?
