The worst injury I had was when I broke my Tibia. I broke it didn't know I broke it got back up and fell on it and I heard a pop and crack. Then it started to hurt. But it also rotated my foot and ankle 180 degrees. I had to have surgery to put things back in place. Thankfully cause of my age I did not have to have pins or rods put in. He said had I been a few years older I would have to have a rod put in. Also said I probably would have ended up with Arthritis.

One time I forgot to stretch and I strained my groin...I've been very fortunate thus far when it comes to injuries because I tend to avoid them. I hope to remain unharmed in the future as well.

I've never broken a single bone in my body... and I'm rather thankful for that.
However, I got stabbed in the side of my hip when I was in Russia.(about 4 inches deep, which isn't that much) I was out with my friends, and at that time I had an argument with someone, and I'm guessing it was them who done it.
It never really bothered me, but it was quite a shock. I wasn't expecting it haha. The feeling of getting stabbed is quite weird too.. I didn't feel it straight away to be honest, probably because of how sudden and quick it was. It was just hot at first. I felt the force and pressure of the person stabbing me, but after that it was just heat. Then I saw the blood on my shirt (I was wearing a white shirt), and at then I realized I got stabbed. Thank god my friends were with me, so they were able to take me to a nearby hospital, and it was all good. My reaction was quite slow and late so I did loose some blood (I did feel very faint afterwards).

A very interesting experience I don't want to go through again. Sucks even more that I have a rather obvious scar that will always be a reminder for me about that day.

But other than that, no big injuries.

austipokedude :

Ouch. I've pulled countless muscles because of my reluctance of stretching before hand. I know how it feels, it sucks. Hope you stay injury-free from now on!

Toothie :

Wow, that's quite an experience! I can only imagine being stabbed. I definitely wouldn't have the strength like you to get through it like that! Sorta wondering though... Where were your friends during this altercation, lol?

Well, for me, I have been lucky. Probably jinxing myself or tempting fate or something like that, but I have been careful not to break any bones. The worst injury I have obtained is a strained muscle. (Well, more like a stubbed thumb, but whatever.) I got it playing basketball last year. The basketball bounced off the rim really hard and hit my thumb. Ouch, it hurt like $%#&. After a few days with a brace on, I recovered. So yeah.

I feel kind of silly saying it, but the worst injury I ever had (in my opinion) was a sprained ankle. I couldn't put weight on it for about 2 weeks and had to use crutches the whole time with it wrapped up. Other than that I haven't really had any serious injuries, which is a miracle considering all the abuse I've put my body through.
A couple of my friends consider my arm getting grazed with a .22 to be worse, but to me, the ankle was a more debilitating injury. The bullets went right through and barely caught me, so it really wasn't that bad. I think the situation in which it occurred was worse than the actual injury.

I've never broken or fractured any of my bones, nor have I torn any muscles, but I did have an accident with a Chop Saw.

I was, and this is embarrassing to admit, shaving off less than a millimeter, I really should have just sanded, but I didn't (XD), and somehow the wood cut stuck in the blade, it ripped it out of my hands and my hand followed. It was over in less than a second, as the power tool stops immediately after letting go of the handle, it really was one of the safest power tools in the entire shop too (XD).

I just sat there, watching the blood drip on my shoes, when a classmate told me, "Dude, you're bleeding." So, I went to the faucet to run some water on it, then the teacher came out yelling, "What the HELL was that noise?" After looking at my finger, he called the principal, and my dad had to bring me to the hospital. They kept asking if I was going to pass out, but with all that adrenaline, I never even felt any pain...

Until the adrenaline wore off and the doctor had to pull out pieces of my fingernail out with some tweezers... I went from a pain scale of 1, very little pain, to about an 8, very much lots of ouching pains. It sucked. XD

I still have a pretty noticeable scar on my thumb, but my fingernails grew back normally.

I am actually really surprised how many people in here have never broken a bone, wow.

I have broken my foot, one of my toes and currently I can't put any weight on my left leg.

As for my worst injury, that would be my broken foot, which I suffered after a car went over my foot, lol. Stupid little kid, I was. Pretty happy I didn't actually get hit, really.

The rest of my injuries are mostly football (soccer) and basketball related.

The worst injury I've ever had was actually nothing too serious. It happened about a month ago. I slipped and fell right on my knee. What happened was I was in the kitchen and there was water on the floor since the dogs' water bowl is in there and it was right after one of them drank from it. Not thinking I walked near it and fell. It hurt like crazy and I couldn't put pressure on my knee for a few days since it hurt so much.

My second worst injury was again in my house. We have this step that is sometimes easy to forget. I was rushing to clean up dog poop(since at the time we just got a puppy) and I must not have been paying that much attention because I hit my foot right up against the step. So of course I fell. And along with the fall my foot got a huge cut. No one was around so I had to crawl myself to the bathroom to clean it. Luckily the slice wasn't too bad and it healed within a few days, and the fall injuries weren't terrible either.

But yeah. Other than that I've never experienced anything bad. I've never even broken a bone. Generally I'm someone that's cautious. Except at home. I'm never cautious at home mainly because it's not something I even thinking about.

Well, I think I might have a pretty bad injury right now actually that started off with a thread I made a few weeks ago about pain in my leg. One reply I( got caused me to do a lot opf research, and the research I did led me toa Condition that I only first heard of last year, and in the weeks since I did the research, I was more noticing the pains that I have been having in my back that I have been shrugging off for the last few weeks but now I learned that I may have the beginnings of Spinal Stenoisis, which is something that I learned about because of one of my favorite baseball players having it.

I had a few injury's but  the worst one I ever had was when I was maybe 5-6 maybe, my family had a party and they were playing volleyball. I was running around trying to hit the ball and I pushed everyone around me during the match. My older brother who is a bit handicap on his legs (when he was a teenager he got Guillain Barre and Lyme Diseases which made him lose some movements on his leg) was standing and I crashed into him. He lost his balance and we both fell towards a brick wall. He landed on top of me and broke my right shin bone. Worst pain I ever felt and the worst part is someone lifted me up with my leg dangling to the side. Someone ended up putting 3 sticks on my leg and taking me to the hospital. Stayed there for a few weeks and had a leg cast for the next few months. I can still smell the stench my leg developed when it was in a cast lol.

Perhaps a disjointed back. A crinkly tilted neck.  How about you, friend? What truly ails you?
