The Java Emulated games in the Retro Game Room had been down since a server migration that took place about 2 1/2 months ago but now all of these systems are back up.

The following systems have Java (or Flash) emulators available:
-Nintendo NES
-Super Nintendo (Flash)
-Game Boy
-Game Boy Color
-Sega Master System
-Sega Game Gear
-Atari 2600
-Commodore 64
-Apple II

For those who don't know, these emulators run without having to install anything extra. As long as you have the latest version of Java or Flash installed, they'll play which means they'll play on any operating system. Some browsers require that you manually approve the various Vizzed servers in order to play the games.


Java Security May Prevent Games From Working
Most likely Java is being blocked which prevents you from playing the games. You'll have to add Vizzed.net, Vizzed.co and Vizzed.com to the list of sites that you're approving. For information on how to do this, go here:

This is great news! I know the site had gotten a lot of questions over the past couple months regarding the status of the Java emulators. Thanks for all the hard work to get these back working again David. I know the users will be thrilled. Esp the ones playing from Macs.

yeah, I was at a loss for helping people with this problem as well because most of the time everything works just fine for me without much trouble. Hard to help people when you don't know what potential problems or fixes are required.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
