I was playing on the mc server as I do a lot and I decided to walk to geeo's place I walked for 5 hours I think I had around 2 hours left. I decided to take a break and played on another server for a bit when I returned I was 3 hours back from where I left off and my achievements were gone. I tried walking a bit again then re logging in it put me back at the same spot over and over again and every time my achievements were gone again. Then I saw geeo was on and had him tped me back to spawn I walked about halfway to my house which is not far from spawn and I logged off. Now when I log on I'm at that spot and my achievements are gone. But the odd thing is I have duplicated whats in my inventory by putting it in my chest then when I get back on I'm in that same spot with that stuff . What was in my inventory 10 boats and some  some other junk. But also the more I relog on and off the more that some chucks get moved around also geeogree and davide1217's achievements are gone also and I think the chucks moving are linked to me in some odd way. I don't know why it's happening if a file is out of place or what.

It sounds like the user data isn't saving properly. Every time I log in I have the same inventory and start in the same place every single time.

Not sure what is causing this but something is really wrong right now.

I'm experiencing the same problem. I just logged on, and was back at the location I was when I logged in last night. I logged out in 'Phemcee's mini-game heaven' (a different world), and loaded back into Genrody.

I agree with geeo, I think the problem is with the server not keeping record of our movements and actions. I've given the server the 'ole 'turn it off and turn it back on again' attempt, by restarting it, so I'm hoping that'll fix the issue. If not, I'll shoot David a message tonight so he knows about the problem.

mrfe : the server isn't even up now. Not sure what you did but I can't connect at all (but can connect to other servers so I doubt it's a problem with me)

geeogree :   I talked to mrfe in chat last night.
He said he tried to restart it but he does not have access to his normal
admin panel he has let David know of the problem.

Talked to David today about this - the server ran out of hard drive space (explains why we all kept ending up back in the same places over and over again). He's working on making space on the server and hopefully will have things back up and running soon. I'm not promising how fast it will be - just reporting that he knows and is looking into fixing it.

geeogree : oh ok well at least we know why it's doing it now.

geeogree : Thanks for the update! Good to hear it's nothing too serious, hopefully David won't have any issues getting it resolved.

I should have done this earlier but summoning some regulars to the thread  so they know what's going on.
