legacyme3 : Yep, its still going on. Theres been so many breaks recently, long ones too, that each time theres a break now, people just automatically assume that the show was cancelled.


Season 9 really ruined the show. I think everything up until the end of season 8 about 3-4 years ago I think was great.

I like it. The old episodes. It was one of my favorites.
After they introduced the baby, the show got more and more bland. After they introduced the dog, it's just, really bad now. The characters are now parodies of themselves, the jokes are stale and boring, the plot lines are overused and add nothing new. Overall, the show was getting bad, and the new season killed it.

The old episodes were amazing, though.

Well to me here's what ruined it. If you remember the intital concept from the start of Fairly Odd Parents:

it was about Timmy and his fairies granting him all sorts of wishes so he could make up for the miserable childhood he was living.

A Few seasons later:
Poof becomes born
-Characters becomes a joke.
-Poof is all important and starts taking priority over Timmy which doesn't make any sense.
So yeah the series got way off track during that segment.

When would you have the fairly oddparents end then?
To be honest:
The Fairly Odd Parents Movie should've been responsible for the end of the series, because it made sense in that regard because:

Timmy is all grown up, Falls in love with Tutti, and keeps his Fairies around.



So If the Cartoon keeps going after the Movie, then that means Everything that happened during the Fairly OddParents movie is Non-canon.

And Timmy never became a grown up.

So in Short:

I've stopped to watch it a few times while just flipping between channels. It's a decent kids show and I used to find it somewhat entertaining though it was never one of my personal favorites and there's a lot I prefer to it, now I think the concept is somewhat old and tired. Even so I think it's kind of weird to ask if people are still watching it since it's running on TV and from my understanding has a decent following.

This used to be my favorite show! My favorite characters were Timmy and Wanda. I haven't watched this show in such a long time, though. It isn't on Netflix anymore for some reason. I don't watch Fairly Odd Parents. I did back in the day when Nickelodeon was at its heyday. I'm actually surprised that this show still exists along with the horrible new SpongeBob SquarePants. I really wish Nick could at least try creating shows that are reasonable to watch or at least revive some shows from the golden era.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
