The 20th anniversary is here, and I would like to finish through every single core Pokemon game in existence. I don't know which one to finish first, though. I would like you all to pick one of the games, or several of them, for me to finish first. Here is where I'm at in each game so far -

Pokemon Platinum - Eterna City- 1 Badge
Pokemon Heartgold - Haven't Started
Pokemon Soulsilver - Cherrygrove City
Pokemon Black - Haven't Started
Pokemon White - Haven't Started
Pokemon Black 2 - Driftveil City - 4 Badges

I've already finished Omega Ruby a long time ago, and since it's the newest installment, I'm not deleting my file. Which one should I finish next? I will update this list whenever I can.

LunarDarkness2 : No. If you're going to do this, you need to do it correctly. You need to reset everything and start from the beginning, even OR and everything else you started.

Hey, LunarDarkness2. Now that's a large variety of Pokemon games, hehe. Let me tell you something, you should finish the ones you have completed the most, in this case Pokemon X. Then Black 2, Soulsilver and Platinum and then you can start whichever you want.

I've started just about all of the Gen III games and their variations and a bunch of hacks but never finished any farthest I've gotten was in Emerald where I reached Mossdeep city but my save files got corrupted/lost

If you seriously intend on playing through all of the Pokemon games one after another, I'd suggest doing it in order of release just to have some structure to it and as an added bonus would really illustrate how much the franchise has changed over the years while still remaining similar in a lot of ways. So start with R/B/Y. Out of those I'd do Red first, followed by Blue and finally Yellow then move onto the next generation of games when you've cleared them all. Makes me glad I've already played all of them on separate occasions because I really don't feel like playing through each one consecutively, I wish you luck though.

I agree with the person who said do it in order. 
Start with fire red and end the list with alpha sapphire.
