So, Bob Ross has become a bit famous. If you don't know who Bob Ross is, he's an artist. He hosts a show called "The Joy of Painting".

Some of you may be like "booooorrrrriinnnggggg". But I assure you, watching Bob Ross is surpsingly relaxing. I usually watch him whenever I want to fall asleep. Not saying he's boring, but relaxing. :p

Does anyone else watch or have watched Bob Ross before?

I don't know that Bob Ross has become a bit famous now.  He's always been well-known within the PBS watching family and anyone who's ever been interested in paint by numbers on TV.

I don't want to be picky, but he doesn't host The Joy of Painting anymore because he died 20 years ago, in the mid 1990s.  He's long gone and it's too bad.  He had a calming voice, a soothing system for painting and he would just throw happy little trees and happy little clouds all over the canvas.  Bob Ross made it look simple, easy, and anyone who had a television could swear they'd be able to paint something with almost no effort.

The man created an entire artwork in 45 minutes.  It was impressive.  I can't do that in weeks, much less under an hour.

He was a good dude.  I enjoy his shows even today.

I watched a bit of his show on Twitch when they were streaming his show.  I enjoyed every moment of it.  It was relaxing and inspirational.  I don't have a lot of artistic skills, but watching his show touched something in me, and caused me to want to try.

I never heard of him until he was mentioned in a video by JackSepticEye and he was talking about how awesome he is but I don't believe I ever saw any of his stuff. I don't doubt he's bad because of all the awesome stuff that I heard about him.

Same here. I believe it was one of his Akinator videos, but I can't remember which one exactly. I got really curious when he said he's pretty much the only guy who I'll watch paint, so I looked him up and loved him ever since.

Not only was the painting itself a lot of fun to watch, but the guys voice is lovely too.


Now I actually want to paint.

I really want to try that out, I had no idea it was so easy to make realistic trees with branches, and sunlight bouncing off. I really liked how he made the sky too, I thought it would require some expert amount of precision and a lot of time and skill, but it was so simple.
