Eirinn : Well do you see yourself getting one of them at least to try then out once the prices start dropping?

I personally don't like the idea of not being able to see the controller or keyboard, but I really do want to see what its like once the price hits like $300 or less

I don't like to spend crazy money on video games (more than $400 on a console) but, I don't know I really like these. I tend to buy consoles and not so much into computer games that much but, I can see how the Oculus Rift might end up having more to offer than PSVR. I just can't wait to see all the games that are available for both, I think ultimately that will help many decide which one to choose.

No way. I won't drop any real money on these things given how I expect them to end up, man. Now if someone sells a used one super cheap ($100 or less) maybe...maybe. I would only play on this if it was free such as at a friend's house, or if the thing catches on after all. I won't bite until it has at least ten million owners and far more than the 100 games it has now. Gotta know I'm getting my money's worth out of it.

And this thing of course is referring to PSVR. No Rift for me even if I had a PC that could run it well. PC gaming isn't my thing.

Eirinn : 10 million? You don't think that's a bit too much to ask for? Theres pleny of games and even consoles that do well with less than 10 million or are even successful and can't reach that mark.

Not really, no. The Wii U has sold almost that much and has roughly 300 games after what, four years? Plus it's considered a failure by even Nintendo for posting 10 million. Nah, 10 million is a very low target for something that's considered a gaming platform, and until it posts serious numbers I doubt many AAA developers will be that interested in it, and while I'm probably shooting myself in the foot as an Indie developer, I don't trust most Indies to make a VR game worth playing. Console, yeah, but AAA graphics ARE important if a game is to feel truly VR because my world isn't 2D or polygonal. I mean they could be fun, but if I'm paying that much extra for Virtual Reality it needs to be like Virtual Reality. That's just me though.
